In Praise of Lift Move & Restore

On Sunday I finished the LMR 8 Week Rotation and started the LMR/Lite 4 Week Rotation.

I finally did my last Segmented Body Composition reading and couldn’t be happier!

I gained a modest amount of muscle and lost fat. Previously my right and left arms and right and left legs were slightly uneven with one have more muscle than the other. They’re now equal right and left.

I’m trying to get used to my legs having a more athletic appearance. This isn’t bulking. I actually lost a pant size.

Because I’m lean I can see the muscle, especially oblique muscle I built in my abs. I’m 69 and won’t be wearing a bikini anytime soon but the muscle is nice.

My point isn’t that I’m body beautiful. My point is that this series doesn’t cause you to lose muscle as some feared.

Today I did Cardio Party and it was 30 minutes of effortless fun! My body feels more balanced, my joints looser. I was able to jump part of it, which I love.

I really started feeling the benefits of the rotation rolling in full tilt during week 8.

So I ordered LMR 2: Elevated and started the LMR/Lite Rotation.

If you’re considering LMR please don’t hesitate. It’s chock full of goodness!

I need to stick to my guns and stick with Cathe. Just so much out there I want to do it all. But the last couple of weeks I have migrated away from what I have been doing for a couple of months (lower impact/pilates/LMR) and my pants are fitting tighter. I need to stick with it. Can I follow the rotation, probably not but I was doing
M- LMR full body (either total body or barre which is a total body workout)
T - pilates
W - LMR lower body (either the balance or weighted)
Th - pilates
Fr - In studio pilates
Sat/Sun - walking and some sort of short strength
all during the week I would walk as a warm up or walk as a cooldown and then walk during the day.

so why can't I stick with it. My mind thinks lets try this or this, ugh. Back to what was working

Sounds like as if you enjoy variety and not the same ole, same ole! Do what makes you happy. Change it up every day if you want to. At least try it!

I’ve actually changed up my workouts for the 4th week of the LMR/Lite rotation. I didn’t anticipate how the steady slate of LMR workouts along with the rotation using some of my least favorite Lite workouts would impact my enjoyment factor.

Well, this week has also been crazy busy so getting any workout done has been a challenge. For now I’m following the rotation but subbing in some Barre work.

You need to do what works for you. Totally guilt free.
