me- "I'm trying to, you need to tell me what you need help with"
ap- "Make it normal" (WTH??????)
me- "Make what normal?"
ap- "my insides are shaking, make it stop!"
me- "I don't understand"
ap- "the sedation isn't working, give me some Ativan!"
me- "I can't, the doctor didn't order any, and yes, the sedation is on"
ap- "Help me!!!"
and on, and on, and on, and on for 12 hrs!!!

<--Now, just to qualify part of this, this elderly lady had a tracheostomy that someone taught her to plug up so she could talk around it
<--is hungry now!
 
<--to which is lovingly referred to as "pillow therapy"
<--had to ROTFLMAO just now, because the phone rang....
<--yup, work calling asking <-- to work tonight!!!!!
<--NOPE! <-- was told this morning by the boss lady that <-- wasn't needed, so <--is NOT about to jump to their tune now!!!
<--HA......Take THAT!;-)
 
<---does a little dance while singing "Go Amy, go Amy."
<---is trying to figure out whether or not she needs a passport to drive into Canada and back during visit to sister in May
<---has procrastinated about renewing passport and isn't sure, now, whether there is time to get a renewal
<---will stop at the courthouse with all my stuff tomarrow and find out for sure
<---is amazed to see blue sky and sunlight after a gloomy, dark, wet day
<---doesn't expect it to last
<---just got call from DH that he is on his way home (late), so <--better put the chicken on
 
<---tells Robin DS#2 just went to Canada and didn't need passport on the way over, but did on the way back
<---thinks ICU nurses are the bees knees
<---hopes Amy enjoys her night off
 
<-- could not last 2 seconds as a nice nurse
<-- would consider <--self a flipping angel if <-- could last 1 second
<-- thinks 2 seconds would be way too many
<-- gave platelets today
<-- freaked all the MAs out since a bruise developed, according to them
<-- never saw it... but <-- did see a raised bump as the machine was giving <-- all the plateletless blood back
<-- didn't get to get it all back since the MAs were, as described above, freaking out
<-- tried to explain to them that <-- do not donate platelets so that the inside of <--'s elbow looks nice; and that <-- would always every time prefer a bruise to whatever the person who needs <--'s platelets is dealing with
<-- gets a little high on <--'s horse on platelet donation day, LOL }(
<-- then went to class
<-- also made a phone call that had some actual resolution for a client at the law office (<-- has been trying to get it for 2.5 weeks now)
<-- told DH not to expect to see <-- awake when he comes home and please to not call <--
<-- wonders if it would be strange to have a glass of wine at 3:30 in the afternoon?
<-- wants to sleep the entire day away and stop thinking, etc... <-- need a *break*
<-- can't work out due to the nonexistent bruise, either :-(
<-- is going to stop typing and start sleeping
 
<--tells Ame to have the glass of wine as it is Happy Hour & 5 pm somewhere
<--congrats Ame on the platelet donation
<--'s Mom had to receive blood a few times during her ICU stay
<--vows to donate some blood back
<--wonders how the fleas are
<--is still laughing about the flea that Ame's DH saw that didn't look too good ;)

<--- needs to do GS C&T and is procrastinating:eek:
<--- feels pretty certain Tammy will get the job
<--- tells Robin you can expedite your passport renewal...for a fee, of course;)
<--- renewed hers last August and got it back in about a week -- expedited (when she thought she was going to Italy last October)
<--- doesn't remember what it cost
<--- better go do that workout

<--also ate a sandwich at Subway because they were out of salad bowls!
<--wonders how a company can stay in business if they do stupid stuff like ^^^
<--is wondering if DS(17) remembered to pack everything for his FLA trip(Disney) tomorrrow
<--realizes it doesn't matter if he did or not
<--needs to join the PJ crowd and go watch LOST
