It's a bit more complicated than the original IMAX, but not as complex as IMAX3, and it's well-cued. Each combo is repeated 5 or 6 times before you go to a blast segment (which is very straight-forward, athletic). Overall, I'd say it's much more athletic than dancy, and there are few pivoty moves.
I don't like to think too hard about choreo either, and I had no problem picking up the moves the first time around, so I think you'd be safe with IMAX2!
