IMAX 3 - I Did It!!

I'm so proud of me, that I had to share with people who would understand! I had the beginnings of what felt like a doozey of a headache right before I started my workout today. SO I told myself I'll do the warm-up and first blast and see how it feels. Well, I won't lie - it didn't feel too good, but I talked myself into doing the first 5 intervals. At least then, I would be able to mark it down as half the workout. Well, those endorphins kicked in around interval 3 and I decided to just go as long as I could. (I must say, I've been very persuasive today!!) The next thing I know, its interval 9 and I'm flying through. Headache completely gone, and really pushing better than I ever have with this workout.

Just thought I'd share that Go Me with everyone, and maybe if anyone is reading this and doesn't want to do their workout today- I say just do the warmup and see if you don't want to keep going! Cathe is very persuasive, too!! Thanks for letting me toot my own horn - like I said, you all are the only ones who would "get it".

Congratulations, Tricia. I'm proudo of you too. This is my favorite IMAX and it definitely gets my endorphins flowing too.

I know how you feel! I have had Imax 3 since it came out and I have NEVER been able to actually do the whole thing. A few months ago, I started it (thinking I would probably just do the first five intervals), but I felt good after that and kept on. Once I got to about 8, I said "I have got to do this whole thing so I could actually say I did it!". I did and I was very proud of myself. It was funny, because when I got to about interval 6 or 7, it was all really new material to me (since I hadn't gotten that far before!), so it was like doing a brand new workout from that point on!

Congratulations! Now, if we can just muster up the energy to do it every time!!!

CONGRATS!!! And toot your horn - you deserve it. I remember the 1st time I made it all the way thru. I think it was more a matter of sheer stubbornness and determination (with a little bit of luck and stupidity for not stopping) than aerobic fitness. But I made it. It was a big ego boost. It's now a favorite and I do it all the way at least once a week. It does get easier. Notice I didn't say EASY!! }( Some days I think I'm nuts because I actually like it so much. The best part of it is, everything else will seem like a walk in the park now. Even other Cathe workouts. I haven't come across any harder cardio yet, and I'm not sure I want to! :) Again, congrats and keep it up!!!

That is worth a bragging right!:) Congratulations!

I've had this one for months. It seems to have some really tricky footwork. I've watched it several times while I'm on the treadmill. I finally did the first 5 intervals. I felt I knew the footwork enough to do that. One day I did intervals 1-5 twice in a row. I could not figure out why suddenly the Leg Blast premix on B&G was killing me the next day. It was a few days later, when I was logging on my Cathe calendar, that it hit me as to why. I must have been in a brain fog.

I like Imax 2 so much better.:)

Funny, in one of the rotations I did it was B & G (which made me sore enough) and then it was followed by IMAX3.

What a killer for quite a few days after that}(

IMAX 3 really gets the ol' legs going, just without weights !:7

Tricia,

Congrats!! This is my very favorite Cathe workout. I love the music and I feel sooooo good when I am done!! You go girl!!!
