IMAX 2 question

Someone who has done Imax 2 - can you tell me how its setup...like is it all step then theres a weight segment or is the weights dispersed within the entire step workout?
Also, is it easier then IMAX 3? I have that one and I have not been able to get through the whole thing yet ;(

There are no weights in Imax 2. It's set up just like Imax 3. A step combo, then a blast, for a total of 10 intervals.

I believe that people have said that it's easier than IMAX 3. I have not tried IMAX 3,:( But I'm a little affraid to with everyone saying that it is so difficult. I've also heard that it's more fun than IMAX 3. I personally love IMAX 2. I think it's perfect in every way. Maybe one day I'll try a new challenge and go to IMAX 3, but for now I am just fine with IMAX 2.

Hope that helped.

I just received it yesterday and did it this morning and it is fun...it defnitely kicks your butt! But I really liked it!!

I think Imax 2 is my favorite cardio workout. I also have not tried Imax 3 because I've heard it is so hard. Maybe next week I'll try it.

I think they're both about the same when it comes to the intensity level. IMAX3 is more difficult b/c the choreography is more complex. But they're both fun, butt kicking workouts & a must for your DVD collection.

I'm trying to teach myself IMAX3 five intervals at a time. I'm going to try doing IMAX2 1-5 and then IMAX3 6-10. Then later that week, I'll try IMAX3 1-5 and IMAX2 6-10.

I'm hoping that by mixing it up I can build up to doing IMAX3 all the way through.

What makes IMAX3 more difficult also is the fact that Cathe shortens the recovery time after the blasts. It isn't as much fun as IMAX2 IMO but still a very good intense interval workout and the music is great in IMAX3.

Imax 2 is one of my favorite workouts. I didn't like IMAX3 much at all. IM3 is more high impact (jumping both onto and off of the step) and has more 'turny' step choreo (also not as well cued) as well.

I do agree that IMAX2 is the superior workout, not only in "do-ability" but in cueing, recovery, etc.

After a few trys at it, Im trying the same thing. The problem is I have to do it when I can really concentrate or else I'll never get the moves down. Most days after work, I just dont have the patience to deal with that particular dvd.
