I'm starving...HELP ME!!!!

I am iced in so I'm bored. Consequently I feel like all I am doing is EATING!!!! I have been hungry all morning! I am eating healthy but still...shoveling too much of ANYTHING in one's mouth is not good! I had a ww bagel with some natural pb about 30 mins ago and am now thinking of what I can eat next! ACK!x( x( x(
 
Got any frozen veggies? I love broccoli and Brussel sprouts so when I get like that, I pop 'em the microwave, put them in a nice serving dish, top them with a little parmigiana reggiano, and I'm in heaven. But, a lot of people don't like those two veggies. Hope it helps a little. Popcorn, maybe?
 
Get to work on a project quick! We're having a snowday here, too, and I've started a few house-related projects that I've had on the back burners for months. Distract yourself with something you can really get immersed in... and those boredom-related cravings can disappear!
 
water policy? Before you have your next snack, drink water first, wait 15 minutes and see how you feel.

The veggie idea is great, too.

Thank you ladies for your suggestions. I just put DS down for a nap which means a work out is coming soon so that will keep from eating....for a little while atleast! LOL
 
Celery/carrots/<insert favorite veggie here> & dip? Pretzels? Hmmmm my clean eating is different from everyone else's so I can't offer many other suggestions.......:p
 
Wendy - Thats a GOOD SIGN! Means your muscles are eating all those calories and want MORE! Eat losts of Protein and veggies today...
 
Laura, Don't you worry...I'm sure I eat things on a regular basis that would make lots of clean eaters cringe! :p :7 :)

Traci, Thanks! I know it's good but I just feel like it's outta control today. I'm not afraid to eat as a rule. I can pack it away so long as it's healthy and have no issues. :9

Tiggy I was like that, earlier. Usually we are off to the gym and running. Nothing today. The more we sit, the more tired and munchy I get. ACK. I had my oatmeal around 7 and by 9:30 I was starving. Then I made an egg white omelet on an english muffin. That did the trick and held me well for 4 hours! Once my little rugrat went down for a nap, got my workout in and now feel so much better. I think sitting around, getting tired, more munchy...it's like a domino effect. That's all you want to do!

Let's see...what have I eaten so far today....Hmmmmmmm....This is basically between the hours of 7am and 3pm....

A bowl of cereal, an SBD bar, a small ww bagel with nat p/b on it, a small bowl of brown rice and l/f cottage cheese (I know, gross, right? LOL), a banana and just finished a post work out protein shake...and soon I'll be eating something else...probably a veggie burger on ww bread! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Tig, that's not bad stuff at all. At least you are eating good calories. Some days are like that, you know? I have plenty of days where I'm constantly hungry. Get over it. Phhhhhhbt.

Get yourself out of the kitchen!! IKWYM, it is hard when you're stuck inside all day! I'm starting to feel that way too! It sounds like you've picked healthy things, at least you aren't eating a whole carton of ice cream or candy bars, right?? }( (at least not yet!)

Go drink some water! :)
 
Strange...my hunger actually went back to "normal" (ofcourse this is a relative term!LOL) after my work out...
