I'm new and need help to make a good rotation

Hi everyone,

I need some help to make a good rotation plan. I used the following tapes randomly and finally realized it doesn’t work. Some days I do too much so I get exhausted and feel so tired on the next day. I don’t know how to involve my spinning bike workouts in the plan.
I know, the ideal if one day you do cardio and the next day muscle training. How about the mixed programs, such as cardio and weights, bootcamp? Are they cardio? Or weight? What should I do on the next day?
I’m trying to lose 10-15 pounds, but my main goal is fat loss and definition.
These are the tapes I have:
IMAX 2
CARDIO&WEIGHTS
BOOTCAMP
MUSCLE ENDURANCE
PYRAMID UPPER AND LOWER BODY
STEP, JUMP AND PUMP
KICK, PUNCH & CRUNCH
LEGS AND GLUTES
SUPERSETS
RHYTMIC STEP
POWERHOUR
CORE MAX
S&H/ LEGS-SHOULDERS,CHEST-BACK,BICEPS-TRICEPS

Thanks so much for your help and time!

Hi Krisztina!

Me again. Okay, so spinning is a bike thing -- must be cardio or something. I'll tell you what I noticed from a Cathe rotation that involved the circuit workouts -- she had a rotation that was all circuits and she put a day between each workout. I thought that was interesting.

You'll have to find out what works for you. For myself I alternate an interval day, then weights the next, then cardio the next day, then weights, then interval, then usually a circuit workout or all cardio, depending on what I'm emphasizing that month. One day a week I rest or do stretch on that day. This way you're allowing the muscles used that day to rest inbetween. One can overtrain, which could lead to injury.

Also don't forget about stretch. That's important and helps prevent injury.

Hope this helps.
