Finally after waiting very patiently, I contacted the new help desk ticket system and received my new password very quickly. WOOHOO!!

Thank you Chris and everyone else working so hard to help us.

Now I'm gonna play around for awhile...kinda overwhelming but fun.

I got a ticket, too, but I still haven't received my new password. I asked to have my old and new usernames merged, too. Oh well, I've waited this long, I guess i can wait awhile longer. At least I can participate in the forums.
 
how do you get a ticket? I used the contact us but didn't get a ticket. where is it? thanks

Scroll down to the bottom of the page while in the forums and click on contact us. It will take you to a "help desk" screen where you select a new ticket then explain what you need help with.

I was checking the forums constantly for the message about the help desk and responded as soon as I saw it. My ticket # was 3 and I got my password right away.

Looks like you will get your post count back and you can even keep your new name! Yay!!

I merged my accounts, but kept my new user ID.
Tammy, did you have any problems after your accts were merged? I'm a little leary of merging until I know others have done it with no probs. What info was taken from your old username besides your post count?

I was able to go back to my home email eddy. The only problem I had was that I had to re-upload my avatar, change my password, and re-do all user profiles. My pm's transferred, as did my friend requests, but everything else I had to re-do: such as cathe dvd's, favorites, avatar, signature...
 
I merged too, however I went back to my old account. Everything transferred perfectly - I just had to change my password. The reply to my support ticket was super fast!

ok, this is weird. i had to get a new password to get on here. what is the deal? and where is cathe's blog with all the STS info on it? i see all the personal blogs, but i don't see hers.
any help?

OK thanks. thats weird though cause when I tried to do that before it just gave me an email address to contact? I haven't tried in a few days though. thanks :)
