I'm feeling a little down about the new workouts

I pre-ordered Body Max & Drill Max b/c I thought they'd have a fair amount of cardio in them. I added up the times based on the blog breakdown & both have less than 18 minutes of cardio.

I'm pretty bummed. I am desperate for some new Cathe cardio. I guess I'll have to wait another year or so for the boxing workouts. :-(

But but but...aren't there some cardio only premixes that are longer? What about bonus footage? I think Low Impact Circuit had a pretty long step segment.

I prefer the cardio too and I preordered all four workouts. I sure hope I can find some good stuff in all of them. I know I'll go straight for the premixes.

I'm looking forward to the new pre-orders but I'd love more strictly cardio workouts too, like some new hi-lo's or intervals.

Body Max 2 has quite a bit of cardio. The first section is 24 1/2 minutes of cardio - not including the warm-up. The power circuit section has 16 minutes of cardio I think if you take out the lower body work.

I'm a little disappointed with the workout breakdowns also because I don't like circuits and expected Drill Max to be more cardio. But, I'm sure I'll find a use for these workouts with the premixes.

And if you do them in a mish-mosh (you know A-Jock's cooking up some goodies) you will still get some new variety!!!

I think you may need to do your math again. Body Max has 40 min of cardio NOT including the bonus cardio section.

There will be a cardio only premix on both of these DVDs. And don't forget the cardio only premix from Low Intensity Circuit.

In my opinion, there seems to be plenty of cardio in this series.

Yep, you're right, I missed the first section of Body Max. That's a relief.

So I'll have one new cardio workout, which will be nice. Still wish there was more.

I preordered, and I am looking forward to the new workouts, but I also want more straight cardio. I like to do about an hour of cardio a day....

I can't wait until the new workouts. I love to mix up my cardio, and break it up a bit... I tend to get really bored with just a straight step workout. Also, I like to start on the treadmill sometimes, then finish up with a short step routine. It really helps me prevent the boredom factor.

I don't lose as much weight with straight cardio as I do with strength training. And I just reached a point where I wanted to start doing circuits (I've not liked circuits in the past) because I realize that's where I'm going to experience my best weight loss potential at this time. Circuits reportedly work wonders on shedding the pounds! So, for me, I wasn't as excited about the new videos when I pre-ordered them a year ago, but now I'm really psyched because they're just what I want now! Oh, how my opinion changed over a year's time...and I'm so thankful I ordered all these workouts!

Don't get me wrong, though, I'm looking forward to seeing what straight-cardio workout Cathe will come up next, but it's not what I want at this time.
