Okay, this isn't Emily posting, it's Shelley!
Contrary to popular belief, I DID, in fact, attend this amazing event today and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
The only ones who knew I was coming were Angie, Emily and Becky. It was a surprise to everyone else,especially Dani, who was last to arrive. The look on her face when she saw me was priceless. Don't worry, it was captured on film.
The whole group was Dani, Angie, Becky, Emily, me, Lisa, Jenny, Maria, Suzanne, Sabrina and Missy.
Highlights of the day:
- Dani's face when she saw me
- Sabrina doing levitation holds on the floor of the restaurant
- Emily licking the whipped cream off her plate, to the delight of our waiter, Jeremy
- Much switching of cheesecakes so everyone could taste
After lunch, we all did some intense shopping at Oak Brook Centre. I think Dani won the "most shopping bags" award
We met at 12:30 and the last of us went our separate ways at 7 p.m.
