If we should all have this problem....

Hello educated crowd,

I have a friend with an interesting dilemma. It's not me--you'll know when I tell her story. She's been working out on a regular basis for YEARS & has a great physique. She is built like Cathe--from using Firms no less! I introduced her to Cathe last year. Last night I recieved an e-mail from her saying she's seeing changes in her body from doing Cathe. She doesn't want to get more muscular but wants to maintain.

So, my question to the educated crowd is this...how does she maintain without losing? I was thinking of telling her not to increase her weights anymore. She lifts like Cathe in all of her tapes. She does a few days of total body weights & a few days of intense cardio. Am I right in saying that if she maintains her weights where they are, she'll see some changes initially & then her body will "stabilize?" What if those changes are more than she wants, how does she reduce the "bulk" without losing too much?

I'm on the other end of the spectrum from her. I'm still trying to get that wonderful physique so I have no clue!

She's naturally lean and muscular, the lucky thing! Don't you think she'll plauteau and stay fit and muscular-looking (like Cathe) without getting a body builder physique like woman who lift massive amounts of weight to get that way? Does she think Cathe is too muscular? I'd tell her to keep working out with the weights she uses, alternating with more moderate weights if she sees bulk. You are so right! I'd love to have that problem! :)
