If I like KPC & KM what else should I try????

Hi!

I posted this at VF, but I thought I'd ask here also.

I always thought I hated kickboxing, but due to the encouragement of another Cathe-ite (thanks Tess), I tried KPC. Surprisingly, I loved it. I then tried Kick Max (which had been collecting dust on the shelf, I had tried it only once) and again, I liked it. When I did KM, I did the blasts first, then the combinations and then the blasts again. I got 40 minutes in my target zone, which made me happy. So now, I'm on the hunt for good Kickbox DVD's. I need the intensity to be high (like KPC and KM). So far, on VF, the suggestions have been: Tracy's Cardio Sweatfest, Amy's KBX, Kim Spreen Absolute Kickboxing and Powerstrike (#1 and #2). Any thoughts on these suggestions or any others I should consider?????

TIA,

Lauren

my favs are Powerstrike 1 & 2. its mostly kicking and punching combos, not intensity drills like kpc,km,and amy bento but it does get your heart rate up and i love the music and the instructors are great. tracys does not have any either. i dont have kimberly spreens kb. there's also cathes ctx kickbox and powercircuit.

I love Kimberly Spreen's Absolute Kickboxing--it's one of my definite favorite kickboxing workouts. It also has body bar combat intervals, which you can alternate with kickboxing segments for an awesome workout. I also like her Cardio Camp workout, which alternates kickboxing and hi/lo (though you can do premixes with just one or the other). I don't think she's quite as high intensity as Cathe but pretty good and pure fun.

Amy Bento's KBX is one I really enjoy, though some say her form is not great (hasn't personally bothered me). Hers is also more complex choreograhy, but I find that enjoyable.

I knew you would love kickboxing. Always happy to enable. Consider it payback for the woody bands hehe. :) I just sent you an email about the Kimberly's.

10 Minute Kick Box Solution with Keli Roberts. Do the long version for the best workout.

A second for Spreen's. I love Amy's KBX. Also P90X (Tony Horton) Kenpo X--a bit more karate than kickbox, uses less room, but high intensity & great fun.
