I want to make my own rotation

Hi all,

I have all of Cathe's DVDs and I have been following a variety of her rotations -- I want to try my hand at my own rotation and wonder if there is a special formula -- I'm thinking I need 2 days of cardio only, two days of full body weight lifting, one day of cardio and upper body lifting and one day of cardio and lower body lifting. Does that sound reasonable? Just looking for suggestions -- what works for you?

Thanks!!

Travis,
I'm thinking you want your rotation to look like this:

weights-full body
cardio
weights-full body
cardio
cardio/upper
cardio/lower
off

I would make one cardio a kickbox and one an imax. Also, I wouldn't do step 2 days in a row. This looks good for maintaining. I'm not sure what you want to accomplish with your rotation. Also, Fitness Freak has a lot of rotations she's done, which are good, and she lists the "generic" type of workout, so you can plug in what you like. You may want to look at those.

I personally, would go for something more like this(but I'm not a cardio fan)...

weights full body
cardio (an Imax)
weights full body
yoga/stretch max
cardio (kickbox)
circuit

Thanks Deanie -- I appreciate your suggestion. I'll take a look at Fitness Freak's rotations too - But I like how you've laid it out. I'm not a huge cardio fan myself -- just seems like with Cathe's rotations I'm doing cardio about 4 times in a week.
