I want my abs to be on fire

I am in the mood to really work my abs today.

Does anyone have any sugguestions as to an ab routine that really burns (either using some of Cathe's routines or just your own routine - maybe with weights?)

Do the CTX ab workout... It's on the dvd and it has all 4 segments form the various CTX workouts. Doing all of those back to back gives me serious burn.

Thanks - I wouldn't have thought of doing that. Sounds great though. I'm not sure I'll be able to make it through all 4, but even if I don't I'm sure my abs will be screaming at me.

Recently I've been focusing more on my abs and have done some good routines back to back:

Muscle Max Abs/Pyramid Upper Stability Ball
Bootcamp Abs/Step,Jump,Pump Abs
Cardio and Weights Abs/High Step Challenge Abs
Kick,Punch,Crunch Abs/High Step Challenge Abs
Muscle Endurance Abs/Bootcamp Abs
 
Do you guys work your abs at the end of a workout or by themselves? I seriously need ab work, but I do so much better when I do them alone.

Usually I work them by themselves. I like to do at least 20 minutes to 30 minutes of ab work a day. I have also done the ab work at the end of a workout then pull out abhits or coremax and continue working them.

I'm with you Allison - I work my abs much better when I do them by themselves. I am a morning exerciser and I just recently started doing abs by themselves in the evening. I feel like I am putting a lot more effort into it since I started doing this and am feeling much stronger in that area.
 
On Sunday I did sections 2 & 3 of Core Max, then the whole Rael 27 pilates DVD. Man was I sore! In fact it's Wednesday & I'm still a little sore.

I love pilates. :)
