I think I need a second job.....

to fund my Cathe addiction. Not only do I need new shoes, I need more workout dvd's (lots, because I can't choose), but I also need a high step for some of those new workouts. *sigh*

Perhaps I should rent out Limecat for corporate functions.

Me TOO!!!

I have bought about a dozen Cathe DVDs in the last 2 weeks (on top of the new Fitprimes and Kickbutts) - my bank account is NOT happy. And now I've decided that I must have a high step and a barbell or I am not a true Catheite. I have a Fanny Lifter and various dumbbells that could probably suffice. But the Fanny Lifter just seems to pale in comparison to the beauty of the high step. I did not know such a wonderful thing existed until I joined this forum. I also think I need a regular club step. I'm ready to throw out my Fanny Lifter and Firm Box and get some REAL fitness equipment! Now, where to find the extra cash... oh how I wish I had a limecat I could rent out.... *sigh*

Unfortunately, Limecat has informed me that I'm on my own. He flat-out refused to be "rented out like a tuxedo" (his words, not mine);)

So I guess I'll have to do this in itty-bitty steps. First, the shoes. Then some workouts that don't require the high step. THEN we'll move onto the high step and related workouts.

This could prove to be a long process:p

When you find the job, have them hire me! I need shoes, and workouts...must have workouts...wait must have shoes...wait really need new insoles....drats :(

It's almost a sickness. Isn't there a 12-step program that I can enroll in?? I buy a DVD and say THAT'S IT! NO MORE!! and then this little itty bitty voice inside says "yes, but now you need a high step/weights/barbell/weighted ball/mat/shoes/lobotomy". And my bank account is screaming, STOP YOU IDIOT!!! DO YOU THINK MONEY GROWS ON LIMETREES???? (sorry Limecat, couldn't resist)

I'm off to buy a lottery ticket. If I win, I will buy everyone the whole set of Cathe.

Wish me luck,

Angie

Next, she'll be posting asking us which DVD's to get and of course, we will say...ALL OF THEM! Enjoy your next shopping spree!

I discovered Cathe in December and my credit card was on fire BIG TIME for the first few months...It has FINALLY cooled off and I actually have no burning desire for more Cathe at the moment....though I DID ask for a few pieces of equipment for my B'day....;-) }( :p

Shelley, is it time for more tough love?

Sorry! Can't help you here. My Visa knows Cathe's body of work very well. As for a 12 Step Program, would you, could you, really give up an addiction like this? So it makes your bank account slimmer; at least you body fat disappears along with your money. That's a price I'll gladly pay!

Shelley, you might as well buy a bundle set and get it over with. That's what I did a year ago and it was the best purchase I ever made. (Actually, it was a birthday present from my husband, but we both use the credit card.) You'll never regret it and your credit card will recover.

My credit card is still smoking because my logic was "well you are going to buy all the hardcores eventually anyway so you might as well buy them all at once and save money". Then I discovered once I started doing the Gym Styles that the step I had, the step companies space saver version, stunk as a weight bench. So I had to get a full size step. Of course it had to be the exact black and grey one they have in the videos. hehe Nevermind all the dumbbells I bought. I also decieded in order to be a true tough workout chick I needed a barbell. I also ended up buying the high step. Our living room looks more like a home gym! :7

Please laugh but I thought this was your second job. Making polls and stuff and taking surveys. :)

Nice burn, there Tytbody;)

Okay, as predicted, I am here asking advice. So, do I go for the Gym Styles DVDs, or should I get PUB/PLB and MIS/PH/BM? I think I've narrowed down my choices to those two combinations. Let the advising begin! And please, for my sanity's sake, don't start throwing other options at me! I'll just get so confused!

Bobbi, do you see how rich some folks would be.
But what good would it do them? They wouldn't leave the house to enjoy it. :)

How come Cathe doesn't make guarantee to loose the fat in 90 days or your money back promises?

Yes, but "we" ;) could just order things off the internet, hire our housekeeping done (So long, Fly Lady), have nannies and drivers for the kids. They'd have to record soccer games and school plays the kids are in. Heck, if rich enough we could even hire stand ins for the soccer games and plays and the kids could stay home too! Nah, scratch that! :7 Ooohhh, a chef and maybe a butler too! I would have to get a new single-storied ranch style home on 3.3 acres before I could refuse to leave though. Most importantly, a new computer and an exercise room, a big one with a wooden floor. Plus a couple of hunks who are ripped, say a gardener and a masseuse! Then and only then would I be content never to leave.

I'll settle for being content to get to stay home today. Until it's time to go to dinner at my sisters....
