I think I am ready...

NRG Woman

My surgery got moved up to 10:30 tomorrow morning. I like it earlier in the day so I don't spend the entire day worrying. I think I am ready, the christmas cards are made and mailed, the tree is up and decorated, the gifts are made and wrapped, the house is clean, the clothes are washed and put away, and a list is made for DH of what he needs to take care of so he doesn't either have to listen to me or rely on his memory.

I am supposed to be in the hospital for 1-2 days, but for my surgery in January they said 3-5 days and it ended up being 10, so I have no idea when I will be home. Anyway, wish me luck and I will let you know how it goes.

Try and be brave, I remember my own stints and how scared I was, but you've done this and you'll do it again. Have faith in your strength, I'll be thinking about you.

wish you the best

I know what you mean I always did better with an earlier in the day surgery. The later in the day the longer I had to go without food which was not a good scene. I hope everything goes well, let us know when you go home that you are ok.
