I used to have a bad cold every year, but I have had none for 3 years since I started exercising, drinking lots of water, etc. Not taking Vitamin C though, but sometimes I do take a multivitamin.
I don't know if I am in control of this or not. My colds used to always turn into a horrible cough for a month. Now, nothing. I think in my case it may be water intake related. Mainly, though, it's a case of God watching over me.
That does not mean that if you are sick God is not watching over you. But I think there is a reason right now that I'm not sick- maybe because my family needs me right now to work, and to be a good example to my future step students at the YMCA? Also, my husband smokes, and maybe he will get fed up with being sick every year and watching me bounce around all healthy all the time? But I really don't know. My 11-year-old son has a cold right now.
I also am very jealous of my sleep time. I actually slept 11 hours on Wednesday night. Could this contribute?
Anyway I hope you feel better. I have a big can of Campbell's Chicken with Rice soup. I wish I could make it and bring it to you and your little hurricane right now! And I wish a 3-year break from colds in your immediate future!
Fondly, Connie
