I think Cathe has ruined me...

I'm definitely a Cathe Snob. Didn't even look at the Collage Video book, just trashed it. I DO LOVE the P90X though...did PlyoX last night and I love that one. Tony doesn't really get on my nerves at all like some have said...he's pretty upbeat! Also thanks to Tony I now have 5 other yoga tapes and I think it has really helped out the definition in my upper arms. THANKS SOOSAN!!

I've actually been wondering about this, as I've had the same experience of not being nearly as interested in other instructors. Why, though, when I read fitness magazines that review fitness videos, no one ever talks about Cathe? Are her workouts too hard or expensive to be widely popular?

I HAVE LOT OF VIDEOS (JANNIS SAFFEL, CRISTHI TAYLOR, JANE FONDA, THE FIRM ,GIN MILLER) BUT I HAVE DECIDED TO USE ONLY THE DVD OF CATHE. NOBODY CAN COMPARES TO HER.

I also have wondered why the mags never review any of Cathe's workouts . I think that maybe some folks who use exercise dvd's/vids don't want to take the chance of getting their butt really kicked. Therefore the mags only review workouts for the masses. That fear of getting my rear end whipped kept me away from Cathe for a while. Now I know better!!!

although I like cathe I have other instructors that I enjoy and a few I absoultly love. But she's near the top in my book.;-) I am never faithful to one instructor;-)

Cathe snob here too!! All my other videos are collecting dust (even my Tracie Long, never thought I'd cheat on her) My hubby commented that I was buying all these videos from that new "girl" and not tracie and that I was "cheating on her" haha..like my mantra below says...go hard or go home..well, Cathe goes hard, why mess with the rest..plus she makes it much more fun..I have been a lot more motivated since I started Cathe, she makes you wanna work hard. She has such a sweet cute but kick butt demeanor sp?... love cathe

She does raise the bar pretty high, but I do love Gin Miller's Simply Endurance. It is a little slower and a different kind of workout. If I am ramping up for a big workout week I will usually start with that.

I love "straight" stepping and have a hard time following Cathe's all step routines. Gin makes a lot of just step stuff and I like to use that after I have done something totally athletic to clean the lactic acid out of my muscles. It is moderate for the whole tape and great for that.

Other than that....I am mostly Cathe. She's got the variety and the intensity for high end workouts.
