I Survived Circuit Max!!

I feel like I should get a T-shirt made or something!!
(along w/one for surviving IMAX ;-)) Anyway for the 1st time I thought I did pretty well. I made it through the whole thing without modifying but man those pushups- ouch!!!! One of the step sections to, I think it's the last, I had to concentrate on. When you're that tired concentrating is tough!! :D
So I'm glad I found Circuit Max and hope that adding this and Power Hour to my routine will "shake" something up!
Take Care All!! Susan

You are right, it is a toughie. It was the first tape of Cathe's that I got. I just got finished doing it three weekends in a row. Seems like it challenges me every time. What a fabulous workout.

Yea! Congratulations! And with no modifications. You should be proud!

I did Circuit Max this morning, but didn't have enough time to do the last cardio and strength cycle before getting ready for work.

On the topic of Circuit Max, I wanted to thank "NaughtOJ" I think it was who pushed me in the direction of this video citing that we seem to have similar tastes. I could have put this one in my top 3 for sure even if I waivered over all the others. (If it was someone else I apologize for not remembering and misplacing the credit due!.)

Well Jeanne, Don't really know if it was me..I like Circuit Max and I probably would have spoken up for it, so I will take credit. You are welcome!! I always have a hard time doing the last of CM as well because of lack of time. It always seems brand new when I get to it!!:)

Susan...yes you should be PROUD. Very hard tape. What kills me seems to be the impact. I feel this one even more than IMAX in the shins. Not very forgiving...

I just did Circuit Max this A.M> It's got some of my favorite kickboxing moves in it, and I love the way the pace is slowed a bit for the weight work (unlike Body Max, where I feel like I'm rushed through the weight work). The only reason I would give it "4 1/2 stars" instead of "5 stars" ;-) is the "6 scoots to one side and back THEN 6 scoots to the other and back" move, which, in order for me to do it the way I would like (ie: actually do it!) would require me to remodel my living room!

CONGRATULATIONS! You are giving me some inspiration! I have had CM for a while and had done it 1 or 2 times (with modifications) a while back. About 2 weeks ago I pulled it out early one morning and about 1/2 way into the 2 floor aerobic section I got a terrible side ache and had to substitute the rest of my work out with something lower impact. Last week I decided to try it again... holy cow! I made it through 5 of the 6 circuits and then had to stop... I was dying! I was thinking about getting rid of it, but maybe I should keep trying. Jeez... it is grueling, but I bet it feels great to complete it.

Thanks for sharing! You have given me something to strive for!
