I missed a day...what should I do?

I was supposed to do disc 5 of Mesocycle 1 today. We had unexpected company and I was not able to do it. Should I do Disc 5 tomorrow or should I do cardio tomorrow and do disc 5 on Monday to get myself back on the right days for weights? What do you do when you miss a day?

Hi there,

Everyone deals with this different, but I know I would make it up the next day, and get myself back on track for weight days. Moving around or adding in cardio at different unscheduled times is much easier for me to deal with! Even if I miss one cardio session, it's much easier to deal with that losing a scheduled weight workout, especially a program like STS. But that's just me! HTH.

Ok...so if i do disc 5 today, should I do disc 6 tomorrow? That would get me back on track with the workout days but is it OK to do STS 2 days in a row? I think it would be OK cause disc 6 is legs but I am so new to weights that I wanted to make sure it's OK.

It is fine to do 2 STS in a row. You wouldn't want to do both upper body but with legs and upper body it is fine. I think Cathe's Jan? rotation had sts on Mon. Tues and Wed with cardio the rest of the week. I have even done two upper body sts on the same day to make up a missed day.

I did disc 5 today and I feel like I did much better with it. I plan on doing disc 6 tomorrow so I can get back on track.
