I like push/pull

I just taped this off of FitTV and tried it this morning. I really like the idea of working the opposing muscle groups. The lunges with the heel up on the weight about burned my quad right through - awesome!

I like this one too! I bought it onebay after seeing it on fittv. If you can record it no real need to buy it as it is the same workout lengh. If you like supersets and like to do premixs then yes buy it!

I like that workout too but I really love the premixes on the DVD. The DVD is worth buying for the premixes.

I have only done the workouts on FitTV so if I may ask what are premixes? I am thinking of maybe getting a DVD or two once I find out which workouts I like the best, but I wasn't sure what premixes are? Thanks

I like it too. As a matter of fact, I was reviewing my 2004 fitness calendar and I noticed that Push/pull was among my most frequently used workouts.

I have MM. I like it. However, I would like to add something different to confuse my muscle. So my question is: Is Push/Pull different from MM enough to worth buying it?

Thanks

Trish
Premixes are on the DVD's. They are the workout but combined in different ways and different lengths. Say you wake up late but really wanted to get some sculpting in and you wanted to do Push and Pull, well instead of skipping your workout you could set it for the quick premix and do a shortened version of Push and Pull. Or say it's Saturday and you want to workout for at least 2 hours. Then maybe you could do the premix that runs for more than an hour. There are combined premixes as well that use both Push and Pull and Supersets, some DVD's have upper body focused Premixes, cardio focused premixes, the options are virtually endless. That's why the DVD's are worth buying. Just because of the variety of options you get with it. HTH

I think MM and Push and Pull are both great for strength training. The difference to me is the order in which the exercises are done. In MM, I feel my legs are exhausted really quickly because you do all the squats than go right into the dips, then after a short excruciating chest portion you are right back to the darn legs. By that point, my legs are shaking just to stand up. In Push and Pull, I do feel I get to the point of exhaustion, just not to shaking. She moves from one body part to the next fairly quickly. I still love absolutely both of them!
