I just impressed my male coworkers...

My boss and another coworker, both male, and I had to go out into the shop area to look at a part we just received from Australia. The part was in a box that was bolted shut (with screws and washers), and bolted to a wooden pallet. These guys were trying to pry the box apart, but were like "Oh it won't come apart - look at those bolts holding it shut! We need a screwdriver!" So, I stepped in, grabbed the edge of the box, gave it a yank and it pulled right apart. In fact, I managed to unbolt the box from the wooden pallet too!

They were like "Oh well, you work out, miss muscle girl!" My boss said "Well, I'm going to add THAT to your significant accomplishments on your performance review!" LOL!

Gee, and I'm not even really very strong! (Am I???) But after 2 months of working out with Cathe, being able to rip threaded bolts out of wood is progress in the right direction!

I love when stuff like that happens! Now that short-sleeve weather is here, the guys at work can see what I've been up to since February, too! My boss works out himself and last week he did something to tick me off. I snubbed him later in the day...told him I wasn't talking to him. Later still he says, "Wanna fight? I can run faster than you." and I'm like, "That's good 'cuz I can punch harder than YOU... so you'd better run!"

They all better watch out!
