I just found the most awesome shampoo/conditioner

The brand is Ojon, just saw it recently at Sephora & figured I'd give it a try. It's kind of pricey, but my hair feels so soft & the curl came out really nice. No frizz at all. Plus it smells really good, the main ingredient is palm nut oil (apparently ojon is a palm nut).

I couldn't find a review for it on cosmeticcop.com (you know, that lady who wrote Don't Go Shopping for Hair Products Without Me). I guess it's either too new or too esoteric.

Anyway, I know someone had asked recently about a good shampoo & I give this stuff an A+. Figured I'd share.

I have long curly hair that's very fine & can get frizzy in humidity.

Oh & I forgot to mention the deep conditioner. It's called Restorative Hair Treatment & it's very concentrated & versatile. It can be used as a deep conditioner, a leave in conditioner, or a styling/finishing product. It's about $60 per jar but you just use a teeny tiny bit (except for the deep conditioning).

BTW Dani, I've been taking the Phyto vitamins & I do seem to notice faster hair growth. Also I started taking an amino acid supplement--methionine--that's the amino acid hair & nails are made up of. I did however stop using the Phyto scalp treatment b/c the cosmetic cop said they were actually bad for the scalp & hair (irritating & drying). I haven't had a haircut since early March & I'm trying to hold out til mid summer, so it's finally starting to get pretty long. Thanks for the recommendations!

I got the shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner from www.qvc.com . Don't know how the price compares to other places. I also love that no animal testing is involved (not just "this product not tested on animals").

I purchased the Ojon products from QVC too, in trial size. As much as I wanted to like it, the fragrance gives me a headache. For me, certain fragrances are a migraine trigger and Ojon's fragrance is. The after shampoo smell is VERY long-lasting. Even my little boy commented that my hair smelled "different", he didn't like it.
