I swear, I just adore that man! I wish he was my roommate, or brother, or dad........OK I guess the dad thing is unrealistic. My BFF, yeah, that's more realistic. :p

Anyway, the man is just so darned NICE! Even when he's being mean he's being nice! I just love that "Talk to me............" It kinda makes me want to, you know, TALK to him!

I'd love someone to pick out my clothes each day. Do you think Tim is looking for a roommate? :D

OMG! I just realized, I want Tim in my closet! ROTFLMAO!
 
Dork that I am, I had to look him up. And I agree...having a nice guy who can help you look your best would definitely be a good thing! My daughter and I have often considered kidnapping Clinton Kelly. :p
 
Ugh, . . .I just love Project Runway. I hate that. I've been trying to stop getting sucked into these darn reality shows.
 
Well, there are reality shows & then there are reality shows. I love Bravo--they're all focused around extremely talented people who can do certain things much better than I can. I really enjoy watching the talent, & the creative process, & the end result. And Bravo does it so much better than the networks--I'd love to watch Dancing w/the Stars but it's way more talk than dance.

OTOH, I'm not quite sure what kind of talent goes into eating icky stuff & plotting behind your, ahem, friends' backs.

I agree that the Bravo reality TV is all about talent - they have to produce an article of clothing in mere hours - DESIGN and PRODUCE. It is not like the others playng for someone attention or something superficial...

I do totally love Tim as well. Kenley totally pissed me off when she constantly dissed his opionions. I have to say I am rooting for LeAnne as she is from Portland like me!! ;)

I saw that the new Top Chef is starting in Nov - I was excited about that!!
 
I love Tim Gunn!! He's so sweet! I love Project Runway too! I really liked Kenley in the beginning but when she started to disrepect Tim. That was a big no-no!
 
Kenley is a jackass, but she's an amazingly talented jackass. I like Leanne also, both have produced some beautiful outfits that I'd wear myself.

I'm not sure which I want to win. Leanne is so, I don't know, MOUSEY is the only word I can think of. I cannot for the life of me figure out how someone who creates such beautiful, colorful things can't manage to throw a little panache into her own look.

But Kenley is such a raging hag, I'm not sure she'd be able to work with wealthy, demanding clients.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow night! :)

I'm excited about Top Chef as well, except I think I gain 5 lbs every time I watch the show, it gives me the munchies! :D
 
My daughter, brother, and I are all addicted as well. Such a great show. I have two degrees in fashion merchandising, which involved some sewing, design, etc but sheesh, when I see what those people create so fast, I am amazed. I couldn't do it if given weeks, and they are self taught -well, some of them. My innate talent does not involve designing and creating an outfit!! Just think of the amazing things we could wear, for little $$, if we could do what they do :D Tim is so good at giving them just the right hints to improve their stuff and those who ignore him are dumb. Anybody watch is own show? I've never seen it but it is always advertisted during Project Runway.
 
Leanne is totally gonna win. I love that it is truely her unique style and very original. The color scheme is beautiful and she just is down to earth.

Love Project Runway--it's FIERCE! Kenely has style but no clue on how to deal with anyone other than herself. I think she's going to win, though...

Can't wait for Padma to be back and tell those chefs "It's time to pack your knives and go."

Wouldn't it be something if Kenley won? I think she was gonna be out in the show before the finale. In fact I'm certain of it if they hadn't let all 4 of them stay. She may very well win, but I hope she hires a very personable assistant to deal directly w/her future clients. :D:p;)
 
I love Project Runway. It is a shame that the fate of the show is up in the air. I do like Kenley's style but agree that she needs to be a little more humble. I think it is cool how if you watch Tim Gunn's guide to style he tries to work with some of the stuff the person already has in their closet and takes the person's feelings/opinions into consideration. I like Stacey and Clinton but the "you look like......." one liners get old. Sometimes Stacey and Clinton work with person's personal style but other times they seem to want to makeover everyone in the same image. I think Tim Gunn is better at improving rather then changing.
 
I think the biggest diff betw. Tim & Stacey/Clinton is Tim is so flippin NICE, & S/C are so flippin ENTERTAINING. Sometimes nice isn't very entertaining, but ripping a person & their wardrobe to pieces can be, well, a little humorous. :p All Tim has to say is "talk to me" & you just know something is wrong. S/C on the other hand, will tell you your outfit makes you look like a misproportioned freak from 1985. Not quite so subtle. :eek:

How can the show's fate be up in the air? That show is awesome!

Kenley gets on my nerves, period. I don't dislike her but part of being an artist is being able to accept constructive criticism from people who are trying to help and who have real experience and knowledge to impart. She isn't willing to do that and I think it hurts her. I am very pleased the final 3 are all women. I've often felt the deck has been stacked against the women on that show. Evidently, I was wrong.

I remember reading an article about it but I do not remember a lot of the details. From what I understand Bravo dropped it or lost it some how. Lifetime wanted to pick it up but there are some legal issues preventing them from getting the rights. So this may or may not be the last season.

Like a previous posted mentioned - Bravo had the right of first refusal to keep PR or not - and before those rights were fully exercised - they (the producers) sold the show to Lifetime. They are currently in production on the new season for Lifetime - but there is also a new injuction against Lifetime/the PR producers as Bravo wants the show back. Hopefully it will not stall it too long..
 
I heart Tim, too! He just seems like such a sweet soul. And as far as the final three, I'm rooting for Leanne. I like Korto, too. Kenley, not so much.

Bravo is the BEST! I heart Project Runway and am rooting for Kato actually, I love her body, her attitude and her hair...she reminds me of Foxy Cleopatra...love her.

Timm Gunn is just the sweetest man and I adore his new show with the new gal he is working with...
I got into Top Design too...great show!
