I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS?

HOTCHICK

Cathlete
Hello my educated friends.

I have two questions,

QUESTION 1

is I am considering buying one or two out of these fitprimes,

Crunch time
G force
From the ground up

which two should I go with? and could you tell me if any are similar to Fast cheetah or Strong bear, or different from them, as I have both already.

QUESTION 2

I Have pairs of crome dumbells 1,2,3,5 kilos and I want a 4 kilo pair,
so that the set will be from 1-5 kilos.

The thing is, the 5 kilo pair are now getting light for me and I am planning on purchasing another set of 5 dumbells, maybe from 6-10 kilos, or just 6,8,10,12, kilos and so on.

what do you use?
would you go up by the kilo? or jump up a few kilos at a time for purchases?.
Obviously I dont want to be tripping over excess dumbells, but I like working with them instead of the barbell for Cathe sometimes.
Hope I have made sense.

Hotchick:)

I go by pouds myself, and it seems to me here in the States the dumbells I've seen at the typical sports stores go 1,3,5,8,10,12,15,20,25 lbs., etc. I don't know how that translates into kilos.

To make up for the big skips in poundage, I use platemates - expensive, but very handy, because they come in 1, 1.75 (I think), and 2.5 pound increments.

Hope that helps!

Susan G.

You lost me with the kilos! For Cathe, and for my Firms, I use 3,5,7,8,10,12 and 15lb dumbbells. I even have 20lb dumbbells, but rarely use them.

Hope this helps!

hi hotchick!

correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe there are 2.2 pounds per 1 kilo, SO if i were you i would just jump up in one kilo increments. when i increase my poundage i usually jump up in 2-3 pound increments. for example 3 - 5 - 8 - 10 - 12 - 15 pound dumbells are what i use, so there is a 2 pound increase from 3 to 5 but a 3 pound increase from 5 to 8. so by jumping up 1 kilo you would be increasing in 2.2 pound increments which should be perfect.
i hope this has made some kind of sense for you and you understand what i'm talking about :7

anyway hope that helps and good luck!!!

Hey Hotchick,

I see you got your answer for the increase in weights--as for the question regarding FitPrime, you might want to ask that question over at www.videofitness.com They tend to be more into those tapes than us here & could probably give you a really detailed answer. Please don't take this as a brush off, I want you to get the best answer to your question.

Hi everyone,

thank you all for your answers, Susan I do understand what you mean about increments, and it is 2.2 pounds per kilo, for some reason the shops/stores seem to be doing the dumbells in kilos now, but I can just about work out the weights, and I have found a place where I can by some hexes.
Deborah, thanks for your comments I dont feel that you are giving me the brush off at all, I take what you say, in the spirit that it is given. I dont use videofitness for posts but I do lurk, but maybe I might try and look for the reviews on these vids if there are any.
Cathe are my main workouts, but my knees cant take impact everyday so I try to cross train, and to be honest I do like variety, as I get restless, for something different.
By the way I did cardio kicks today and forgot how awesome it was.

bye, HOTCHICK:+
