I have one Hard Core left to try

I just finished HC Extreme Cardio & Lower drills. And followed that with Muscle Max Lower premix. Now the only one I have to try and fit in so I can see what it's like is HC Extreme Circuits. I am thinking maybe Saturday as I have done all of the GS's this week.I really love this series. So much variety.

Diane Sue, how long did the HC Extreme cardio lb drills/MM lb take? Sounds great. What is that HC Extreme comprised of? My HC Extreme DVD does not work. Thanks.

The HC Extreme went like this This one came out to 72 min.
7 min. 43 sec w/up
39.5 min cardio
19.5 min lower drills
5.5 min. stretch
Muscle Max Lower Premix
4 min. w/up
14 min. lower body
5.5 min. stretch
I hope this answers your question. The lower body combinations are not too long 33 minutes. I used one pound toe weights on the lower drills.

I still have some Hardcores left to try...all this running makes me put off some of the workouts until after the race I am training for! Anyway Diane Sue, I just had to tell you I used 3 bands in PLB standing today for the Step-ups...WOW....the med one 1st (12 reps), then the heavy one 2nd (10 reps) and then the super heavy one 3rd (8 reps) and went back down. It felt wonderful, and if I can still walk tomorrow...well worth it!!...:+ :7 :) ...Carole

I still haven't done High Step Challenge - I was going to do that Monday but then overslept! Whah! I'm loving this series too and all the great variety - Cathe outdid herself! I'm very pleased! :) :)

Hi Carole...sorry to butt in...but just wondering about using the bands with PLB...that sounds like a great idea! When you say "3 bands," are you meaning 3 different intensities of Dynabands? Thanks! :)

That's a great idea Carole. I used the heavy one on Muscle Max yesterday and thought I would go to the extra heavy next time. I also used the heavy one on the Gym Style floorwork.
Thanks,
Diane Sue

Hi Tia,
Not Carole here, but we discussed the bands in another thread. I believe she is referring to the different resisence levels of Dynabands (lt pink, med.green, purple hvy, silver xhvy:)
Diane Sue

You can butt in anytime TerryMia!!...:)...Diane Sue is exactly right about the colors and resistances. There have been a few threads about where you can get the bands. I got some at TJ Maxx , but they were only 4' and I couldn't use them in every exercise. So I got the other colors at www.fwonline.com in the 6' length....:)...Carole

Diane Sue...I've only used the heavy and xtra heavy for legs. I might give MuscleMax upper body premix a try today and maybe use the heavy one...}(...Carole

OMG.........I visited your homepage and you look so great! Congrats so all of your success. I have just started, and at age 30, looking at you makes me feel real depressed (LOL) ! Just had to comment on how great you look! Keep up all the hard work and be proud of yourself.

Joanna -

I started the day after I turned 30, will be 2 years in May.
There is no reason to feel depressed, you are doing something
good for yourself, Cathe's workouts are as tough as they come.
We all welcome the challenge though, keep it up and hopefully
one day we will look half as great as Diane Sue does!

:)

You guys are so sweet. Thank you. There is no reason to feel depressed. Cathe has great workouts that are effective and challenging. I have been at this for many years. And saw changes and still have goals to work toward. Keep at it and I am sure you will see lots of changes.
