... WHERE DID THE FIRST FIVE MONTHS OF THIS YEAR GO????

Honestly, how did it get to be June already? It's crazy! Weren't we just all yelling "Happy New Year"?

I guess that's what comes with age. Your life flying by. *sigh*
 
I was wondering the same thing this morning! How the heck can it be June already? I JUST got used to writing 2005 instead of 2004.
 
This year has been a series of terrible blows followed by pretty good moments. In January, I was wondering when this horrid decade would end. Now it's June and I'm thinking "Crap, I'll be 30 in twenty-six days!"

What I want to know is: If my life is flying by, how come I'm not getting little complimentary bags of peanuts?
 
You're flying on the super-economy, no frills, nothing included fare. Like me. All I got was a paper bag to throw up in.
 
Well, dammit, I have worked hard enough to earn a fist class ticket, so give me a bag of peanuts and a margerita!:p

My mind is just totally blown away because now my kids are in 3rd and 1st grade, and my baby is now a toddler that runs around screaming taking his pants off and I am not as energetic as I was like I did when I had my first kid at .....well, it was a long time ago! Aagh! June is my second favorite month of the year, though, so I will be happy until it is July, my second least favorite month of the year!
 
I am so glad. I hate the first 6 months of the year. First you have the post holiday blues, then cold, dreary weather, then rainy, humid weather.

On the other hand, I LOVE the second half of the year--summer at the beach, beautiful autumn weather, and of course the holiday season. So it's all good from here. :)
 
I can't believe that the high school year is over....my daughter is officially a junior now. And by Friday my youngest will be looking forward to her last year of middle school next year. **sigh** ;( I still remember them drawing on the driveway with sidewalk chalk and believing me when I told them I had eyes in the back of my head. I don't miss the Barney videos, though.....

Shelley, I am very sick. Yes, I have them in order by favorites. I hate March, I love May and I am too embarassed to say what order the remaining 9 are in! x( I do wish time would slow down, though. I am not ready for it to march on my face yet!
 
Wow it IS crazy! I was just thinking the same thing today! It's funny but my b-day is this month and I was just at the Dr's and when he asked how old I was going to be I FORGOT!!! and told him the wrong #! oops! I think my BRAIN is flying right out of my head sometimes!!! x(

I swear I'm feeling the same way! I can't believe that at the end of the month, 1/2 of 2005 will be history!

My daughter's graduating from *gulp* high school 6/10. I remember taking her to her first day of kindergarten like it was yesterday!

I read that the less dopamine we produce, and we produce less as we age, the faster time seems to move. I think I'm out. It's 10 past 11:00 and 5 minutes ago I swear it was nine and I was going to get ready for bed because I'll be awake at 5:00 or 5:30 so the day can shoot by at rocket speed again. No one else seems affected. I keep expecting Rod Serling to pop out and observe I am a woman with the brain of a fly or something. Disturbing. Do do do do, do do do do.......
