I have a question about workouts............

Calico

Cathlete
If I have a chance to get more of Cathe's workout, and don't have a stability ball and can't/ rather don't have room for one at the moment, what workouts do you all recommend or can be modified for use without a stability ball?

Thanks:7

I have MIC, MIS, CM, PH, RS, IM1, All Step (came with my step) and CK, and BM. And the PS series and Slow and Heavy series.

Hi Annette,

You know you'll never go wrong with any of Cathe's step workouts. I'm not sure about the Body Blast series but I know for all of her older workouts if ab work is included, it's either plank/core work or traditional stuff like crunches, etc.

I absolutely love Cardio and Weights from the Intensity series and this doesn't require a ball. Neither does Muscle Endurance, a tough but fun weight lifting endurance workout. I don't believe Imax 2 uses a ball and if you want DVD it's nice because it's paired up with Cardio and Weights. Not sure about Boot Camp and I'm not sure how easy it would be to modify the ball work on the Pyramids.

I also have to highly recommend the CTX series. No ball work here and all the workouts are fun, challenging, and the length is great for days when time might be an issue. Love this series as well!!

If I'm remembering correctly, the Intensities was the first series that used the stability and medicine ball. Anything released before this sereis and I think you're in business.

HTH,

I won't make any recommendations on what you should get, I just wanted to say that I don't have a stability ball yet and I still get a lot out of PUB and PLB.(I love them. They make me sore:) --in a good way). Cathe has a crew member in each one showing modifications for those who do not have a ball. I'll also add that IMAX II and Cardio and Weights are fun, fun, fun.

take care
Maggie
