I had a sonogram today

I went for my first prenatal visit today and the Dr. did a sonogram to date the pregnancy.

I'm 8 weeks but the thing that just amazes me is seeing the heartbeat. You would think that this being my 4th baby it would be old news for me but it was just as exciting as the first. It just amazes me that the heart is beating already. The baby looked like a tiny little teddy bear with tiny little arms and legs. My DH actually got tears in his eyes (but was trying to be manly and pretend he was not- but I saw him!!)

That is wonderful. Isn't it just amazing to see that tiny baby? I think it's just such a miracle. You make me want to be pregnant again. Good thing it's physically impossible Marci, what a terrific time for you and your hubby. He sounds like a great guy, I love that he cried a little.

A teddy bear! That is the perfect description for that little 8-week gem! They DO look like teddy bears at that point!
