I finally did it. I walk Thursday night. I am excited yet apprehensive about what my future has to offer me.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone here that really helped me through the last couple of years and helped me get to this point. It was a long, hard journey for me for sure.

Not sure what area I am going to go into. I haven't looked too hard for a job at this point...just trying to study for NCLEX. I do have an interview tomorrow, but it is for a night job and I am not too excited about that. I don't think my body would ever adjust to nights. Plus, my body and fitness have gone down the tubes and I am afraid working nights would just perpetuate that. Changing that is one of my highest priorities now that school is over.

Anyhow, thanks again guys!

That is so funny that you mention that, I go tomorrow to take exam to get into class. Congrats, I know school is very hard!!

Great job and congrats Janice! I know how hard you've worked these past years! Woo-Hooo! Good Luck with finding the perfect fit for a job. I'll be thinking of you Thursday nite! Yipeee!

Wow, Janice, what a sense of accomplishment you must be feeling! I admire the hard work you must've put in to get that. Awesome. ;-)

Congratulations, Janice!! I know how hard you worked and you've had a pretty tough couple of years. There are so many avenues to choose from so you can afford to be picky. Good luck finding the perfect job.

Congrats Janice!! That has to be a great feeling and there are so many ways you can go with the nursing degree!!!

Congrats Janice! I am also going to school. I was going to school to be a paralegal, but after taking Basic Law I have decided that I don't want to sit in an office and do paper work, all day long. I ahve a huge respect for Paralegals, it's a very interesting career, but not for me.
ANYWAY, my point being that I'm switching to nursing myself, getting my RN. So, I know what you went through to get that. It's not easy. But nursing is in huge demand, and will continue to grow with the babyboomers getting older.
Good luck in your job hunt, but I'm sure that you don't need the luck. You're probably a shoe in for whatever job you want.

Congratulations Janice!!!!!!!!

My sister is currently in her second year of Nursing School at SDSU...I have such a profound amount of respect for what you do and what it takes to do it!!! The nursing program is no joke and I applaud and salute you for seeing it to completion!!

Good luck on your job interview and upcoming career!!!
