Hey ladies. Thought some of you might appreciate this...

I have seen several posts about Lucky Brand jeans on this forum. I knew they were very pricey and looked at them on line and wondered what the big deal was. Why would anyone pay that much for a pair of jeans? They all must be stinkin' crazy, I thought! LOL

Well! Today I was in TJ Maxx and what did I find but a pair of Lucky Brand jeans marked down to $22.00 in MY SIZE!!!! WOO HOO! I had never tried a pair on in my life but when I saw them I HAD to try 'em. Well, all I can say is that I now see what the fuss in about. They are SUPER SOFT and COMFY and the FIT and LOOK FABULOUS on me, if I do say so myself!;)}( :p I bought them and even went back to see if there were more but alas, that was it. ;(

Oh well, atleast I have a pair now and I got 'em at an awesome price...I'm so proud!:+

I'm still on the search. I think my legs have gotten bigger from step, so now my thighs don't fit into jeans my but fits in... weird.

We have a Lucky store nearby, so they're my last resort for finding a pair that fits. I'm resigned to spending the dough- it's better than wasting $20 on 5 pairs that look awful and don't fit, I figure.

That's so GREAT you found some you love!!!!!
 
well dang. now you have to post a picture so we can be jealous! now you need a sign or your butt that says "I got Lucky for 22" :p

Amy...If it were a year or 2 ago I would have definately considered purchasing ONE pair for full price if they fit as well as this pair does. I would buy ONE pair and wear them until they were DEAD and then go out and replace them!:)

Good for you. Isn't it such a great confidence booster when you KNOW you look good? :)

Everybody keeps talking about TJ Maxx and there's one about 40 miles from me and I may just have to go check it out!
 
Wow!! I never find any deals like that:-( . I'm so happy for you, though. Isn't it nice to lose weight then find a really great pair of jeans!? I definitely want to see pics--I bet you look hot! What'd your DH think? I'll just bet he thinks you look like a babe;)

That's a super deal! Isn't it great to find jeans that fit well? I am still searching .. I will have to scout out some of those Lucky's I think!

LOL Wendy! I had a feeling it was about the jeans. I recently got "Lucky" too, but not that lucky!:7 I got them on sale for $50 something, but I also had a rather larger return. So, I basically got them for free. :D I really like them, but my dh liked the Express jeans better and they were cheaper. Try Express. Right now they are on sale for $29.50.

I never thought to try TJ Max.

Good for you Wendy! What really freaks me out is Lucky jeans are actually cheap now compared to the other stuff that's coming out. And you know me, I don't even check price tags before I buy something, I just get what I like. But I've tried the Sevens, Miss Sixty, & other exotic brands that cost $200+ & frankly they don't fit me half as well as Lucky. Thank goodness!

I was quite the shopaholic too when I was working at the bank though I still had to check price tags!! I actually prefer buying LOTS of less expensive stuff than just a few big ticket items myself. ;-) :)

That being said, I never shopped the "sale racks" at stores, nor did I ever clothes shop at TJ MAXX when I was working at the bank but now? I always head to sale racks FIRST and I will also check out the clothes racks from now on when I am TJ MAXX! I haven't done too badly for myself considering the budget I'm living on these days! I'm quite proud of the shopping "skills" I have acquired!:) Beats having to quit shopping all together!}(

I'm actually thinking it's not all that strange that you knew what I meant...LUCKY jeans are a pretty popular topic on this forum!:)

It's the thrill of the hunt! Finding a bargain is one of lifes pleasures. Speaking of... if you know your jean style and size you can often find new with tags jeans on ebay for a fraction of the price. I have no idea where these ebay people get the stuff they sell, but I buy a LOT of different things there for cheap. I've been very happy with nearly all my purchases (only had one not so good experience out of over 400 purchases). Check them out.
