I finally finished it!!

I have been painting my workout room for 2 days! It's 1:30 a.m. and i am finally done! Everything is back in it's place and looks much happier. I went with bright colors because i love the beach! I did 2 walls in periwinkle and 1 aqua. I'll post pics soon:) It reminds me of the islands, cruise ships, mexican resturants and Cathe's home page ALL of which make me very happy. It'll be much more fun to be in there now:7 :7 :7

Way to go Jes...it is that much sweeter because it is your room and you worked so hard to make it look nice. Can't wait to see the pics!

Good for you Jes!

I would love to "do up" my work out room! It was just painted with in the last year so I'm not gonna bother doing that...but maybe I'll go out and find some inspirational pics to hang on the walls! I would love to hang a mirror too but I just don't have the space...even if I rearranged furniture I don't know that I could make it happen.

Jes, I was at a Home Show last weekend and there was another vender there with these moving pictures that were actually really cool. My favorite was a Yosemite waterfall, but he did have some really beautiful beach scenes that I loved. I wanted one so bad for my daughters room, but my husband didn't think she would appreciate it..

Anyway, I did a quick search and found this website

You can get the idea, and I have to say that the site is no where near as cool and they looked in real life. It looked like a super clear photo, one even had a window frame with shutters like you were looking through a window and yet the water in the photo moves. There is a sound option that I would probably turn off although some were alright.

I don't know, but your room sounds beautiful and I could just imagine a big beach photo going really well there.
 
I can't wait to see the pictures, Jes! I want to paint my room, too, ever since I've seen every else's workout rooms. BUT - I bought paint for a dresser I have and I haven't even done that YET. A whole room is so much harder!!!
 
Rooms are WAY easier than dressers! Dressers have all sorts of fiddley bits. Walls are easy.

Nice job Jes, it sounds fresh and pretty, nice cool colours for some very hot days. I painted our living room, dining room and kitchen a few weeks ago. I had never painted before and quite enjoyed it (didn't love the prep work though).

Congrats, Jes!! I can't wait to see the pics, sounds just beautiful and right up my beach, errr alley. ;) My bedroom.workout room is decorated with a shell theme and accented with dark blue, dark red, and bit of orange to match the shell curtains and comforter. I just love it! Still..sometimes I wish it was more colorful. You might be inspiring me to shake things up a bit......x( :p
