I Finally did it!

Ok, I have been talking about for a few weeks now, been puting it off. I finally ordered the CTX series on DVD. I had some serious anxiety about spending the money was my only problem. Mainly becasue I spent so much on the body blast series just about 8 months ago or so. Anyway, my birthday was on Saturday, so I decided that was my present to myself. Yay for me! I'm totally excited to get this series, because I hear so many good things about it.
I just thought I'd share my happiness! Yes, I'm having a good day today, hee, hee!

Thats so funny....ever since I got a DVD player I have ordered some of Cathe's workouts that I didn't have. So I decided I needed the PowerHour, MIS and Bodymax DVD!!! I have Bodymax in VHS but not the others. Now I think I have them all...:)...and yes CTX is great...I am doing Leaner Legs in awhile...:)...Carole
 
Why does Leaner Legs have me frightened? Should I be affraid of that one? I mean affraid in a good way? I have Legs and Glutes, and pyramid Lower body. I don't get all that sore from them. My butt can be sore as well as my hams, but otherwise I can still sit the next day and get up and down the stairs. (Which by the way I have been that sore before to where that was a HUGE challenge!) That was when I was first starting to get in shape though. Will I still be able to sit and get up and down the stairs the next day after I do this one too?

Actually I was a bit intimidated myself before I tried it. Don't be afraid, if you can do PLB you can do Leaner Legs without a problem. I'll give you the exercises and the order they are done in:


Squats
Quarter DeadLifts
Calf Raises
Leg Press
Single Leg Squat
Quarter DeadLifts
Calf Raises
Squats
Sit & Stand
Quarter DeadLifts
Calf Raises
Static Lunges
Plie Squats
Quarter DeadLifts
Calf Raises
ABS

I like the ab routine too. I use roughly the same weights as I do for PLB...you'll like it...:)...Carole
 
Kathy, you will love LL. I was able to get CTX only around last October. I'd been doing PLB and PS-Legs regularly and I'd get a nice, mild sore the day after I used them. LL hit places in my quads I didn't know existed. I was sore for three days after the first time I did LL, and I used a BB that was 20 lbs. lighter. I was still able to sit, stand and go up and down the stairs, so it was a good sore. It just lasted longer.:) Enjoy the rest of the series. I particularly love CTX Power Circuits, All Step, Kickbox, and Step and Intervals. CTX-UB split is mahvelous, too.

Carole, you lucky woman, you... I'd love to be doing LL, too.:)

Ok, mild soreness I'm hoping for. I just didn't want to be completely out of commission after doing Leaner legs is all! I ahve heard rumors that you are not supposed to do Power Circuit after Leaner legs. I've tried Power Circuit and that one killed my quads alone, so I can emagine that the two combined would not be a friendly combo!;) I don't know why Power Circuit hurt me as badly as it did, but it sure made me a hurtin unit for a few days there. Must have been a fluke right?, ha, ha!
