I feel like a spaz when...

What exercises can't you do no matter how hard you push yourself? For me it's
~ push ups (not girlies ones)
~ pliee jacks
~ jump tucks

I can't do a full set of ANY of these!!! Hopefully the day will come when I can get at least 1 out ;)

For me, it's still pull-ups....no matter how hard I try, I can't really do them. I get so mad too and make up excuses like, "My long arms make it harder", but truth be told....I just can't do 'em.

Tuck jumps (height and tucked legs? Not in by a long shot).

Those weird 'jazz hands' things Cathe does in Plyo Max (or whatever that workout is where Cathe wears the white sash belt). (But I think they look weird doing it as well).

Those are the two that come to mind immediately, I'm sure there are more (but I usually just don't do moves that I think look weird).

I am the same way with the push ups and jump tucks!!! They are VERY hard for me. I would "like" to say that I've finished a set...but the last 3 or 4 are like HALF jump tucks...so they don't really count! LOL

Someday, we WILL be able to do them properly and whatever the amount cathe calls for! WE CAN DO IT! WORK WORK! hehe:p;)

I was thinking this today when I did RS. It was the shuffle down the board. Cathe and crew look decent doing it. I feel like I'm stomping down the board like an elephant on a drunken bender. And V steps to the back - like in BM2, the front is good, but when I turn it to the back off I know I look silly. I lose the count/rythm. (spelling?)

Nan

Jumping jacks!!!! Well, I can do them, but I can't do them in public cause I've had two kids...if ya know what I mean.

Cant'do:
Pull ups without a woody band-even then it's tough.
Full Push ups, well I can do a few but probably not the best form and certainly not 72 reps.
Tuck jumps-mine a very wimpy.

Yoga moves:
The "floating" move Baron does a lot in his DVD
Levitation lifts without 1 foot touching the ground-never mind the move Cathe does in the STS yoga stretch
Monkey pose (full splits)
Hand stands

There's probably a lot more but these are a few that come to mind right now.

ooooh how can I forget levitation lifts?! I can't do those either!! I like to blame it on my legs being too long which is the same excuse I use for "regular" pushups ;)

I guess every part of my body must be too long, because I struggle with all of the following:

push-ups - my ultimate nemesis - i have tried all kinds of things but I am totally stuck at 12 push-ups on my toes as my absolute max.

pull-ups - i can do one.

jump tucks - I don't know if it's the sequencing of these in some workouts, or what, but these just don't happen for me. I guess I'm not super-bouncy.

power scissors - kill my quads in about four reps! And I feel like my feet are never positioned correctly for knee safety.

dancy step choreography - I can master almost any kickboxing sequence, but never really get all the dancy little moves. This leads to tripping over the step, colorful language and frustration.

I don't let it get me down, though - I have strengths as well as weaknesses. Like I said, I'm pretty good at kickboxing and I have really good core strength - I love ab work and can do it all day long. OK, well, maybe for at least an hour or so.

I can't shuffle either, or do fast feet. I finally conquered triples back and around...step is the hardest for me...
