I did triple steps turning around the step!

This might not be a big deal to you guys, but it took me a decade to figure it out! I could not for the life of me get the turn. Obviously the triple steps are easy enough, but I could never get the turns down without stumbling on my own two feet.

I am feeling mighty proud of myself this morning. :)

Woo! Good for you!

I still can't do a decent Flying Angel or whatever heck that move is called. I'll need more than a decade.

That's quite an AWESOME accomplishment!! You should see me doing step. I swear if Cathe caught a glimpse of me executing some of her moves, she'd come straight over to my house and confiscate my step along with all her DVD's and scold me for embarrassing her.

ROTFLMAO! We won't tell anyone. ;)

Isn't it funny how we all seem to have one move we can't quite nail? You know how I got this move? Amy Bento's "hop, hop, stick." You can't do that move without the turn, & I was determined to get it. And I realized it was the same concept as the triple/turn.

So strange how I needed another instructor to learn a Cathe move. :p

I can do all sorts of hi-intensity, dangerous moves on the step, but if I'm going to trip it's with triples around the step. Congrats on finally getting it! I have ASC3 and I'm dying to get the ponies the way Amy does them. Not sure I'll ever be that light on my feet.

^^5s Laura! That's great! It's so much fun when you learn a new choreo move, isn't it? You just wanna yell, "I'm king of the world!" At least, I do...

I did ASC3 today, and that darn move after the hop-hop thing got me this morning. I have done it right before, but for some reason my brain just would not get it. I do the Dorothy fine though....:)

I love triples, they are fun, cept when the dog and cat are in the way, then it is triple dodge cat/dog.

That is one of the funniest things I've ever read! Michele, you're a hoot! :p

I had trouble with the dang triples for a while but found it effective to make a noise as I do it to keep me on beat...cha-cha-cha. I suppose it's kinda like how my nephew used to open and close his mouth as he used scissors. :p
This is a vast improvement over the f-bombs I used to drop.

Congrats on getting it "right!".
Now, if I could just figure out how to do a figure-8 I would celebrate right along with you.

OMG! :D ROFLOL!!!!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one! :) I felt like that ALL THE TIME when I was first starting Cathe's vids a couple years ago. Now I'm getting better-- can even get those angels flying most days-- but there are still a couple moves that elude me!!!

I think getting any of those combos down for the first time is cause for celebration!!!!!

:D Congrats, Laura!!!!!!!!! :D

That's the truth! I remember the first time I did Rhythmic Step the whole way through I celebrated w/a bottle of wine! Which I guess kind of defeated the purpose. :p

Darn, now I have a hankering to do RS. I think I'll put it on schedule for tomorrow morning. ;)
