Cathlete
Y'all are going to have to bear with me. No one else understands how proud I am of myself!
I finally realized that for me diet is 90 percent of the solution. So, for the past two months I have been writing down what I eat, keeping to a certain number of calories. I have also upped the weight training (upper body twice a week, lower 4-5 times alternating standing days with floorwork) while cutting cardio to three times a week (two step vids and IMAX). I also took weekends completely off. I had been doing a strength rotation, but now I'm doing endurance.
And drum roll please, I am back into my thin clothes (the ones that got me depressed to begin with) and about five pounds away from what I consider my ideal weight. I measured and realized I lost two inches on my hips. I still have a ways to go to get rid of my surgery belly
but I am starting to see some very nice changes in my body.
I always remember what Cathe says: "Don't be afraid of using heavy weights. They do nice things for you."
