= ( I can't believe I lost it!!!! Help me find it!

I said a prayer to St. Anthony while I was out walking with Joey...looked a little more when I got back but to no avail so I stopped looking....Hopefully it will turn up soon...

Because of the nature of my life as it is being a SAHM, I did not wear the locket every day so I don't rightly the remember the last time I had it on...;( This is part of the problem. I always know where the jewelery I wear every day is because I take it on and off all day long for showers, dishes, work outs, etc...I was afraid to wear the locket constantly because I have had chains break on me and I did not want to wear something with pics in it in the shower...I had a pic of my 2 babies in there-Joey and...ofcourse, you guessed it, Clyde! :)

Wendy, I am so sorry, and I hope it turns up soon. It will turn up when you least expect it.

I am terrible about losing jewelry. I lost an aquamarine and diamond earring AND a tanzanite earring my husband gave me. I get sick every time I think of it.

Wendy,

Just a thought, but one time a necklace I was wearing was torn off by the seatbelt in my car. I don't know how it got caught on the seatbelt but it did. You might want to look really well inside you car.

IT SLID INTO YOUR BRA!!!!

Just a suggestion....

I really hope you find your locket soon, Wendy. I HATE losing things, especially priceless, personal items like that. 99% of the time things will turn up when you're not looking for it. I'm sending positive cyber vibes your way.

I'll refrain from saying "it's always in the last place you look" because......well, duh....;)

Awww Wendy! I am assuming you haven't found it yet since you haven't posted. I'm so sorry...it's awful when it's something of such sentimental value to you. Don't give up. Be sure to check your purse too. Hopefully, you took it off and put it somewhere. Good Luck!

I hope you find it too! Tell us it's been found but don't worry, it will turn up! I can feel it. New mom, busy mom. Things get misplaced and then turn up. I think you are smart to distract yourslef and not to dwell. That locket is there somewhere and it will be found or you'll remember where you had it last when you least expect it.

Tell me, what it is you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? -Mary Oliver

Maybe you put it in a different spot this time while doing :dishes, workouts, etc... Inside a dish or jar maybe?
Example:Normally I put my jewelry in a box under the bathroom sink. I moved it into the walk in closet and forgot I moved it. I looked for it for 2 days before I remembered I moved it.

Just thought of something. Do you play w/ Clyde outside in the yard? Maybe dh saw it laying somewhere and put it somewhere that you normally don't.

I looked everywhere I could think of so far...hopefully you are all right and it will turn up one day soon...

Thanks for your help, ladies! :)

Wendy ~ Let me tell you a story that will give you some hope.

My SIL lost her engagement ring a couple of Christmases ago (2003). She turned her house upside down. She had family/friends over to search and research different areas of the house. Last Christmas the ring turned up, but at our house!!! We still can't figure that one out?!?! It wasn't far from our Christmas tree that we had just put up. So, we're thinking it may have been in with our ornaments or tree box. We have suspected the babysitter who sat for both me and her. That same Christmas we came up short Christmas money we had put aside for the kids presents. A few weeks later the ring came up missing. I hate to put the blame on her. She was awesome with the kids. We had used her for several years too.

Anyway, sorry so long.

Good luck!

I lose things pretty often and I can relate. It is frustrating, but I have learned to calm down and then when I least expect they "appear" again. I hope you find it soon.
