I can't believe I ate that....!!!!

Oh, yeah - I used to put peanut butter and mayo on white bread! I also put butter on bread and sprinkled sugar on it!

My dad used to butter cookies. I still might be known to eat cake frosting out of the can with a spoon, and I also love to eat Goober, PB&J combined, with a spoon out of the jar.

I love this thread! Let's see, for me it was...

* Hot dogs fried with onions (an old roomate turned me on to that)
* "Hopple Popple" my grandmother used to make this - scrambled eggs with hotdogs.
* Kentucky Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes *shudders*
* The skin of the turkey or chicken - I have to slap my hands to stop me from doing it now.
* Long Island Ice Teas! Holy cow, when I was in school, we had a bar that sold these in the 16 ounce variety for $2.50. I used to drink 2 and 3 of them! One would have me under the table now!
* Burrito Grandes the size of a dinner plate - and eat the whole thing.

Maybe we should start a threat of things we STILL eat and know we shouldn't... At the top of that list would be my DH's Chicken Curry and Spinached Beef. It's sooo wonderful, but I feel like I swallowed an inflated beach ball for days!

I rarely drink now (one beer a year?), but there was a time when I would drink 5 Singapour slings or Tom Collins' or tahitian bridal veils (all those sweet drinks) a night, 3-4 days a week. Or an entire bottle of Easy Days or Mellow Nights wine. And I was usually still standing afterwards (though probably not too straight!). Now, 1/2 a beer gets me a buzz and I think I'd be in a coma after drinking what I used to.

Kathryn,
I am the same way with alcohol. I used to be able to drink with the best of them! Now, after one wine or beer, I am too buzzed. I am glad I do not have to add alcohol to my list of things to avoid. Melissa
