I am SUCH AN IDIOT

Oooooouuuuuuucccccccchhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

I worry about dropping my DBs on my face or whacking myself in the mouth!

I'm glad you're walking on it....I fell down a flight of stairs last month and my first thought was about how it was going to impede my ability to workout! We're all SICK!

Boy, that must've killed! I'm so glad it's not as bad as you thought. For lower body, the floorwork in GS Legs or PLB is excellent, especially GS Legs. It kills me every time.

Hi Maximus...
So sorry about your foot - good lord was that painful? I am cringing just thinking about it!

Alas, I broke a metatarsal in my right foot two weeks ago today. I MISS MY CATHE WORKOUTS so bad it hurts! My doctor told me 6 weeks to heal.

Take care of that toe and don't overdo it. You don't want to end up taking even more time off! Best of luck and I hope it feels better soon.

Liz

PS - Solara, I just read your response and had to laugh. My first thought too, was "Oh my god I can't work out on this foot!"
;-)

OH! That sucks!!! Hope you feel better soon. I dropped an 8 on mine and that hurt like the devil, so i can't imagine 25!!! x( glad you can walk on it though.

jes:)

I am so sorry about your foot accident! I hope nothing is broke and all heals quickly. In the mean time those upper body workouts are looking good. And how about extra core work?

I think it'd be worth a co-pay to go see your doc & have it x-rayed. My friend at work has been working out to Cathe for the past 8-9 months since I lent her some of my tapes. And while she didn't drop anything on her foot, she did get a stress fracture from all that high impact. She is a overweight, though. And she wouldn't listen to me about good high-impact shoes. Anyway, she still could somewhat walk on it with some tenderness. She waited a few days to see the podiatrist & lo and behold it was fractured. No workouts for 6 weeks, although she is doing some weights. Maybe since you're so small it doesn't bother you so much. If you still feel sore, don't hesitate to go see a doc. 25 pounds is a lot a weight to drop.

Needless to say, I felt somewhat responsible for my friend's injury.

Ouch! That must've been a sight! I'm constantly wacking myself in the leg with dumbbells and then I wonder why I have bruises, LOL.

I second the advice on getting an x-ray though. There are lots of little bones in your feet, if there is a fracture you would want to take care of it so it heals properly. Get better soon :)

I second Marla's advice!! Go see the doc!! At least they'll be able to give you a shoe that you can walk on until you're feeling better and you won't risk re-injury!

OMG I can't imagine dropping 25 lbs on my foot. That must have HURT!!! I'm so sorry!

Oh my.....bummer it didn't happen 16 years ago when it would have only been a 5 pound weight ;( ;( . This is the price you pay for being able to lift some hefty weights, my dear. Prayers for a speedy healing and lots of hugs. ;) ;) ;)
