Hi everyone. I've been lurking for the longest time so I thought I'd say hi. I've always found this to be a very positive and inspirational board.

Here's a little about me. I've been exercising for a while now (Cathe vids, Christy Taylor too) but I haven't taken it seriously until I gained weight a few years back and had trouble taking it off. I'm happily married to a Navy guy. He has been on deployment since March. :( I miss him like you wouldn't believe. As something to focus on during this time, I decided to get back into shape. I have lost 20 lbs !!!! since March with the help of WW, the gym and Cathe videos. I unfortunatly don't do too many aerobic videos at home anymore because we now live in a top floor apartment and I try to be somewhat respectful of those beneath me. I can't wait until we buy a house!

But I use Cathe's strength tapes all the time. Power Hour and the Leaner Legs tapes have been incredible for my legs. I'm going to catch up with the newer workouts now and buy all the new equipment soon!. I hope to lose another 10 lbs by the time DH comes home. He's in for a surprise! And another 10 by the time we go on vacation in December. I love the rotations - the Weight Loss rotation was absolutely wonderful. I have also found an interest in nutrition and there might be a new career field in store for me soon.

Thank you Cathe for being such an inspiration. Can I join the "educated crowd" now?
:)

Hi! Welcome!!! :D

My husband is in the Air Force, but he is not deployed right now. I know what you're going through. :( I've never had to go through it as long as you have, though. Stay strong!!!! Congrats on the weight loss!

Welcome! Congrats on your success in getting in shape. Cathe's good for that, huh? And won't your husband be surprised when he sees the new you! What a terrific welcome-back gift. He'll certainly know he was on your mind the entire time he was gone.

Welcome!. The more the merrier I say.:) Does your hubby know that you have lost weight? He will be in for a major surprise if he knows nothing about it.

Hi Lori! I'm Lori too!!

Yes, he knows I've been trying. The last picture he has seen of me was a couple months ago and mostly of just my face. I think it will still be a shock. A picture is not the same as seeing someone in person after what will be 8 months apart. Not to mention seeing the changes without the clothes on!!

UH OH... you better be careful....the next thing you know, there will be a baby on the way!:7 8 Monthes is a LONG time!!!;)
