I was not sure if I should do a muscle building or fat loss. If I eat extremely clean will I lose fat with both? Please give me you opinions as I am totally confused on this.THANk you :)

Hi!

I always recommend this book to anyone looking to lose fat and gain muscle definition -- it's READY, SET, GO! by Phil Campbell. He'll give you the basics so that you can really understand what rotations are all about and how to set up your own.

My suggestion, if you are in good shape, would be 2 days of anaerobics (any of the IMAX's as these combine anaerobics with cardio and plyometrics), 2 days of strength workouts, 1 day of pure cardio -- like most of Cathe's step workouts, and one day of weights and cardio (like bootcamp or High Step Advanced), and 1 day of stretch. Eat clean. Not sure if Cathe's kickboxing is more anaerobic or cardio as I don't have any of these workouts.

With anaerobics, take it at your own pace if you are not a seasoned exerciser.

Hope this helps.:7

Hi - I have the same goal as you do. I haven't been exercising consistently in the past few months so I decided to start with Cathe's fat loss rotation (see link below) then move on to a muscle building one because I don't think my body can handle the soreness of lifting heavy weights right now! :)

I don't have all the DVDs in that one so I used the following list to find similar ones I do have to substitute.
