Quick background. I am doing a 3 week S&H rotation so I can enter the new year with nice strength. Yesterday I did legs and shoulders along with the floorwork from B&G and extra shoulder work. My shoulders are nicely fried, and needless to say I didn't want to do weights today. I am also a video purist and really have never done premixes, but the new series had me rethinking that.

So today I pulled out SP&J/Sb and hit the button for the 90-minute hi/lo step premix. OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! How much FUN is that?! What a sweatfest! Not until it was over did I realize that it was hard! But fun hard. Unfortunately - these shoulders could hardly lift off the sweaty clothes that were plastered to my body. That's one great workout!

One of these days I'm going to MAKE myself do a 3 week S&H rotation...maybe one body part a day with short, intense cardio...kind of like a S&H CTX.
