HSTA

Hello all!

I've done HSTA a few times now..1st time as filmed, 2nd time cardio only, 3rd time as filmed but skipped through all of the leg presses except for the double presses. Initially, I wasn't crazy about this workout. But, after doing it yesterday without the leg presses, I discovered that I like HSTA so much more (although still not as much as BC). To me, the workout flowed so much better without the leg presses. Just had to share my thoughts.

I haven't done it yet because I'm on a Slow & Heavy rotation right now, but after previewing it, my first reaction was: WHY SO MANY GODDAMN LEG PRESSES?!?!?!?

So, I think I may skip a few sets or sub with different lower body moves simply for the sake of relieving the tedium!

So, I agree with you. Thoughts shared and seconded!

I LOVE this workout! Yesterday I did the whole workout as designed, then, went back and did all 6 minutes of cardio AGAIN strung together and then, all the leg work AGAIN. (6 minutes) I was sweating bigtime! I LOVE leg presses (well, at least what they do for you! ;-)) , the side lunge, back lunge thingy and also the running man. FUN workout!!!

Clare!

Hi!!!! And, THANKS sooo much! I am still not 100% but doing much more then I could for the last 7 months! It feeeels sooo good! I love the new workouts because they are helping me to "ease' back into it. That said, they don't seem easy for me! The basic is quite easy but I modify "up" so it is still a great workout. Great to hear from you!

I really love this workout. I usually start it with the warm up then cardio only twice then do the whole thing through. That gives me a total body workout and over 30 minutes of cardio. I think all of the leg presses makes for a great leg workout. They also help keep the heartrate up a little longer. The versatility of this workout is great also because you can split it into upper and lower days also.

RE: Clare!

Debbie,
That is so good that you are able to get back into things. I am really glad for you. I wish I would have had these new workouts after my knee surgury.
