HST cross-body push-ups

I finally sampled the rest of Cathe's latest workouts. When I did HST cross-body push-ups, I felt them more in my anterior delts than in my chest. Is that because of the crossing motion? I loved how different they felt, but want to make sure I'm doing them right and hitting the right places. Also, I did the HST upper body premix after I did the entire HSC. I think I was pretty fatigued by the time I was doing the push-ups.

Can you believe that I haven't done these workouts yet. I got these at the same time P90X arrived. Soon I should be finished with my P90X/Cathe rotation and then I can try these. Maybe someone else can help you out.

I feel the cross-body push-ups more in my anterior delts on the side that's on the step. I find that mentally focusing on my pecs helps to isolate and place more emphasis there (where it's supposed to be). I don't think it's possible to entirely eliminate the anterior delts because of the raised position on the step. I love the move tho - it's a total challenge.

Well, duh to me... I didn't think about that.:) The move is so new to me. It's one of those things that my body has to get used to before I can start mentally focusing on my pec area. This is what I sorely need -- new moves. I can't wait for Cathe's new series.
