How's everyone doing?

We've seemed to slow down quite a bit around here. How's everyone doing?

I'm 26 1/2 weeks pregnant and have reached the rather bored stage of pregnancy. I'm definitely showing, Katie is moving and kicking around a bunch and I'm getting bigger and bigger by the day ;). I'm starting to get tired of being pregnant and ready for her to get here. I know this is normal and I keep telling myself to enjoy it because this is it for us. Guess I'm just really wanting to see and hold my new baby :)

I really need to get my eating under control. I'm eating so many bad things it's a wonder I haven't gained more than I have :) Anyone else have trouble in this area?

I hope this doesn't come off like I'm complaining a whole bunch. I'm thrilled with this pregnancy and so excited to be having this baby. Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm at 16 weeks, and it's pretty boring too. But I think that's a good thing. No sickness, no complications, a decent amount of energy... What more could I want?

I've been eating very well, BUT I have some kind of sweet snack every day. The weight hasn't changed too much; only 3 pounds total, but I know it's not a good idea to eat sugar every day.

I'm just excited to feel the first movement of the fetus.

Wow!

Alli~I can't believe you're THAT far along! (Easy for me to say, right! ;-)) Just wanted to say Hi and to wish you a speedy pregnancy, but NOT TOO fast! I can't wait to see pix of Katie! LOVE her name. Happy Thaksgiving!

Things are going well for me! I'm right behind you Alli, at 26 weeks (due March 2). In the last couple of weeks I've really popped out and everyone says that I look pregnant now! I've been eating quite a bit as well, but am trying to balance healthy foods with chocolate binges! :)

I've started having trouble with hip pain at night. Two days ago I woke up with incredible soreness in both hip joints. Since then I've started using pillows between my knees and under my hip and it's feeling much better!

Still don't have a name for our baby boy! We can't seem to agree on one! Hopefully, we'll find one that we both like.

Take care everyone!

I'm only at 10 weeks (due 06/24) but I am already having hip pain occasionally. With my last pregnancy (many years ago) the hip pain was the worst pg symptom I had. My hips hurt all the time. This time I have a body pillow to sleep with and hope it helps. If anyone knows of anything else that will reduce the hip pain, let me know.

Hanging in there!

Howdy all!

I noticed it has been rather quiet around here lately, too!

I am 22 1/2 weeks pregnant, and I have finally started to feel the baby move. Actually her movements have gotten much more noticeable just the past few days. DH could even feel a few very faint kicks when he put his hand on my belly while we were lying in bed last night. He was so excited! :)

My belly has really started popping out just over this past week. I can wear my maternity clothes now, but some of them (shirts especially) still seem prtty big on me. But none of my old clothes fit at all, even the drawstring pants and loose tops routine is getting a bit stretched, so I guess I'll just have to deal with it for now.

I feel great, but I have scaled back my workouts some. I am only committing to 3 circuit/Firm style workouts a week now. I was expecting way too much of myself before and getting extremely disappointed in my inability to make my body perform the way it used to pre-pregnancy. So I had to step back and just lower my expectations a notch. Sorry to say, I still didn't do so well over the Thanksgiving holidays...but, I refuse to stress about it. :)

I am enjoying pregnancy right now--I'm at the point where while I am anxious to see the baby, I am also allowing myself to enjoy these last few months of "leisure time" before the baby comes--it's our first and I know *everything* will change once she arrives, including my beloved sleep schedule and weekend lazy time.

Oh, and we narrowed down our name choices to 2--Michaela Renae (thanks for the suggestion, guys!) and Keira Michele. We are leaning towards Michaela, but we wanted to have a backup in case we decide Michaela just isn't right after we finally meet her! :)

Hey Renae!

So glad to hear things are going so well and that you are feeling great. Count your blessings! Isn't feeling the baby move one of the greatest moments? Glad you are taking the time to enjoy every minute. LOVE both names!! Just wait til you see her face that very first time!

Hi everyone,

I'm a little late checking in since I was away for Thanksgiving. It sounds like everyone is doing very well for the most part! I was 13 weeks as of yesterday and I sure am celebrating the end of this first trimester. I have been so nauseous and so extremely fatigued I can hardly remember where the last several weeks went. Thankfully, little by little I am feeling better and hope that over the next few weeks the sick part should be behind me. This is my second child and I forgot how hard it is to be sick all the time.

Anyway, other than that things are ok. I have my second doctor visit on Friday and I hope that I will hear the baby's heartbeat then! :)

Oh, and I did eat way too much over Thanksgiving. I think the fact that I was actually hungry and enjoying food again made me go way overboard hehe.
