How will you use the new series?

Hi everyone,

I know there was a thread posted on this topic awhile back, but since the new DVD's will be here soon (yeah!), I thought I'd see if we could start this discussion again.

How are you all thinking about using the new series? Will you be adding any more cardio days to your workouts for the week?

I usually try to work out five or six days, so I'm not sure if I'll be adding more cardio . . . . I was almost tempted to wait until the November rotation was posted to use them, but I'm sure I'll rip them open and pop them into my DVD player the day that I get them!

My mind hasn't changed since the other two threads on this subject:

I'll first preview them all, then decide what to do from there. Probably doing these every other day.

If the weather still permits, I might add the weight segments onto my regular walks, and stick with walking for my cardio for a while.

I am also excited to finally get these workouts....however, I've totally loving running lately and ran in a 5K last weekend...it was SO fun! I ran much faster than I thought I would and am now psyched and inspired to try another one or two before it gets cold. So I figure then would be a good time to go to a 4-day split routine. Until then, I'll preview and probably use the weight segments on non-run days!

I'll have to try each one before deciding. For cardio lately I've been doing a lot of walking and HIIT. If I like them enough to attempt a rotation, I'll probably end up doing them as suggested by Cathe. I'm sure her November rotation will be centered around them.

This is exciting.

I may try to do each one through the first time plus add a power walk and ab w/o to make up the other two days. Since I love premixes I will end up trying all the premixes...and there are many premixes.:D

Or I was thinking of breaking the 4Day split into 8 days (1/2 hour each plus extra cardio).

I'm so excited!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking I will probably do something like this:
Day 1: BC Cardio/Bi's Tri's
Day 2: Low Impact Step/Shoulders & Core
Day 3: Cardio Kickbox/Legs & Core (MAY do the core portion on day 4 or 5 instead)
Day 4: High Intensity Step/Chest & Back
Day 5: Cardio
Day 6: Kettlebell or Functional Fitness or Circuit
Day 7: Rest

Of course, that is subject to change....I will preview first.

I'm hoping I'll never have to use the weight training segments. ;-) But I wanted to have them for weeks when I can't get to the gym.

The cardio, on the other hand........I can't wait! I've been so desperate for some new cardio workouts, I've done all the ones I have to death.

A long way of saying I'll be enjoying some added variety to the cardio portion of my routine.

Now that I've previewed them I'm plannning on separating my cardio days from my weight days. The weight work looks pretty thorough and the heavy poundage will be more effective if I have the energy to give it my all, which wouldn't happen if I did the cardio first. There's tons of premix options, including a weights first option, but I'm one who likes to do cardio first and get it over with!

I did a similiar rotation with the CTX series and got awesome results.

I am pretty sure I posted what I was going to do but to add to it......

I will do them as is first, but I have enjoyed doing weights first lately and then cardio - so I might flip flop them and do the weight portion first and then end with cardio - - )
