How tough

Is Low Max? Is it tough to follow? Or is it pretty easy once you get the hang of her moves? I have K,P,C and Legs and Glutes from Cathe but that's it.

hi jennie...i think the footwork is complicated......but worth it. i am a slow learner when it comes to step, but i just break it down section by section. would you consider one of her high step workouts, as i know you probably have a fannylifter (see u on FF;) ). bootcamp/muscle endurance is a great dvd as well as high step challenge or high step advanced.

some people just are not interested in more complex footwork. If you did get it and it was not for you, you could probably trade nicely for it on the YAYA swap. Lowmax really gets your legs tired too. Did you watch the preview?

Once you get the hang of the steps, it's not bad. There is one place that's not cued as well as it could be. Other than that, just keeping up and completing the workout is the biggest challenge for me. I am a long time Firm-y and little did I realize that this one was going to kick my behind!!!

I don't think she cues well at all in this workout, and since there's not much repetition or TIFT'ing, it is a little hard to figure out at first. However, once you get the hang of it I think you'll enjoy it more because I find that all that cueing and repeating can get old after a while!:)

I love it. I am not great at the higher impact. It is chaptered , so i just kept going back till i got it.
Once you get used to her step cueing it is actually pretty easy and fun.
I also think i was making it harder than it is.
I love high step challenge and bootcamp. I modify a little and just do jumping jacks on some of the blasts. The 3/4 in foamies make it harder to do the jumping.
Good luck .

I had never done step before cathe - I started with her Basic Step/Body Fusion just to see what it was like (it didn't compare to swimming, which is what I had been doing). So, I picked up Low Max. It did take me several tries before I got it - but it was so worth it. Now I have almost every cathe dvd and am hooked on step. If you have a little bit of patience and take it slowly, trying Low Max will probably be well worth it! If you can master it, all of her dvds will be easy to learn.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I do enjoy high impact even though LM is low impact. I think after I've mastered LM I'd move up to a more advanced work out.

Hi Joanna. I didn't know you were on these boards to. It's nice to
"see" a fimilar name.
