How to keep your step from my sliding while doing cardi...

My step tends to slide while I am doing my step routines. I was using these mats to try to keep it in place, but the mats would slide too ! I am thinking of trying rubber mats used for the bathtub because of the suction cups on the bottom and the fact that they are non-slip.

I was just curious of anyone has any specific solutions for this and what you do to keep your step from sliding ! When I did my step routine on Monday, I realized that with the way my step was moving, it was probably a bit dangerous !!

Thanks in advance for any input !!!:)

I use a piece of rubberized shelf liner and it works great on my tile floor. It's just the right width for the step and does not get in the way. Coincidentally, the roll I bought was also just the right length.

I stuck wide weather stripping on the bottom of my step, worked great. It does have to be replaced every once in awhile though.

I use my resistance bands to keep the step from slipping. I just put the bands on the floor and then put the step on top of them - it has not harmed the bands.

Home Depot or someone like that will sell you a sticky sheet that you would use under a carpet. You can buy it by the length / width you want.

And all this time I thought it was only me with this problem! May I stick my nose in & say thanks for all the great ideas!

Is the sticky sheet PERMANENT ? Because I will have to move my step out of the way to do other exercises.
