How to define and tone waisline

I've also had a tummy tuck - had it in 2000 after losing over 100 lbs (no children). I gained back that weight years later but lost it all again: tummy tuck results remained. :) Still, the thinnest my waist has ever been is 28.

I also had lipo and a breast lift in 2000, too.

While recovery from the tummy tuck wasn't fun, it wasn't that bad for me either - but then, I was only 19. If anything, the recovery from my breast lift and implants was much harder - had the implants removed in 2002 after many surgeries and complications.

Thanks laidies for all your recomendations...I will give the exercise moves a try. I often think about crazy things like a tummy tuck, etc...but I would be selfish to spend that much money on me when I have six children. I have been considering a eye lift for the longest time and have save the money, but I feel guilty for spending that money on a cosmetic procedure when I have college to think about. Maybe some day! Plus I'm a sucker for pain, the only pain I'm willing to take is for child birth. Thanks ladies!

Yes, my tummy is flat. Got the procedure here in Vegas, Dr. Sullivan. I had the tummy tuck with lipo, breast lift and implants all at the same time, all of which cost $12,000. I don't remember what it would cost just to get the tummy tuck. Recovery took about 2 weeks, but keep in mind that is how long it took me to recover from everything. I'm thrilled with the results - the fact that I still have a flat stomach after having gained all the weight back and losing it again shows how effective this surgery is,

Thanks for the information. I'm seriously considering just the tummy tuck. I just don't want a long recovery. I Can swing two weeks off work

Isnt' the "natural waist" considered the part that's the smallest?

That's what I always thought. That's also where I choose to do my measurement of the waist because it's the smallest part...So even if I'm not measuring correctly, that is where I'm still gonna measure.

I have nothing against those that have had tummy tucks, but personally I couldn't do it! Having C-Sections was scary enough for me. I have given birth to 5 babies (4 C-Sections) and what worked the best for me was cardio (mostly kickboxing) and circuit type workouts. But in the last year I've had to tone things down so have gone to "lighter" workouts. What has really toned my mid-section are the Exhale Core Fusion workouts. I have always liked Cathe's ab work and find it tough, but I've noticed more of a difference since I added Core Fusion. I think it depends on body type also maybe?
