how to buy a fitness ball?

hey guys!I want to buy a estability ball so i can do the core trainning on KPC and notice that they have different sizes...Does that matter? I'm 5'1 and 120pounds...

I just got a stability ball to use on KPC too. The balls I have seen go by sizes of height: The one I got was size S, 55 cm for people 5'0"-5"5" and the size M one was 65 cm and for people 5'6"-6'0", and the size L one was 75 cm and for people over 6'0". So, I would go with a 55 cm ball if I were you. :) HTH

I also am short, 5'2", but when I bought the ball for my height, I found when I sat on it, my knees were not lined up with my hips. Also when I did the shoulder exersises on the ball my arms hit the ground. I pumped the ball up with air as much as I could and still no go. Luckily I saved my receit and exchanged for the medium. It works much better for me. So I would start with the small but save your receit, incase you need the next size up. Deanie:)

I, too, found the small ball too small. I'm 5'. I just bought the medium size and it works much better for me.

Deanie--I had the same problem--I'm 5'3" & I got the 55 cm ball, but it was way too small. I ended up replacing it with the medium sized.

Same happened to me. I'm 5'4", but with long legs and arms and very short torso. I think if you have long legs the medium works better.
